Great truck, awesome power with the Cummins. Pretty much the best part of the whole truck. Has been in the shop way too much for too many things to list. But now that I'm comming up to 100k the thing is really starting to pay for itself. It gets less expensive to own every year. Hauls excellent. mpg are good.

I was a little worried about the fuel economy for the first 15,000 miles. Now that I have reached 18,000 I am seeing 19 to 21mpg without a chip or any other modifications. Excellent towing power.

Wow, what can I say. What a horrible experience. The Dodge Hemi powered attempt at a true crew cab falls short of my expectations. I had it 8 days and the dealer only wants to give me $6000 LESS than I paid for it! What a great value huh? The interior is the smallest of any of the competitors. It has an extremely noisy interior with multiple fit and finish problems. Overall I'd have to say to Dodge, you have some serious issues with your QC. Ford and Chevy dealers take note. You could sell twice as many trucks if you'd have a Dodge on your lot and let consumers do a side by side comparison. Make sure you do your research and so you won't make the same decision I did.

I have about 40,000 miles on the truck at this point and the dealership knows me well. The electronic shift module failed at about 32,000. Dealer tells me to expect it again in another 30,000 or so. The electric door locks stopped working at 38,000. After getting stuck, I was informed that the four wheel drive system in this year model is really only a three wheel drive. Yep, no power will ever be provided to the left front wheel and that is the way it is designed. The door wind seals wear out about every 12 months. Poor design rubs on the doors when opened causing excessive wear. Love the diesel power and fuel economy! I get about 21mpg on the open road and still get the power when I haul.

Wasn't too long ago that the name Chrysler/Dodge meant buyer beware particularily with quality control issues. My how times have changed. Mercedes has certainly left its mark on these new Damilar Chrysler vehicles. The Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie with the Cummins Turbo has the build quality that Americans are not used to seeing. Body panels meet, corners are squared, lines are straight. No rattles anywhere, anytime! I traded a 2003 Ram 2500 Hemi on this Cummins powered truck, and I am more impressed with it now than the day I drove it home. Before these 2 Damilier Chrysler products, I had a 2002 Lincoln Continental, which I really enjoyed. The Dodge trucks quality is on par with the Lincoln!
