Used 2004 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 Quad Cab Consumer Reviews
2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4
This truck has been a pleasure to own. It has Cummins diesel engine, 4X4, and all options. I'd recommend it to anyone needing (or wanting) a HD 4X4. I've driven the big Fords & Chevys. This one wins hands down.
CUMMINS POWER!!!
The ONLY diesel rated "Medium Duty" in a small pickup! (Dodge should advertise this fact!) I thought the 15 liter Signature Series Cummins in my Peterbilt was impressive! If you don't know diesels don't let the "6cyl" fool you. This engine will stomp the other V- 8's! A straight "6" is the optimal config. for a "Work Horse Diesel" 99% of all "Long Haul" diesels are striaght 6's "Not" V-8's. Listen folks. I've driven Cat's, Detroit's, and Cummins for nearly 2 million miles, and this engine is simply a smaller version of the engine I make a living with. Who care's about Dodge, (though it's a nice truck) buy the truck for the cummins!!

ram
front seats are hard as rocks, even with 7 way power seat
Can you say Hemi?
345 Horsepower, 375 Torque. I never worry about towing anything. Plus at 6'8'', there is more than enough room for tall people. If you have big needs for towing and don't want a diesel, there is simply no other choice. I did my research. Nobody beats the power, comfort, or warranty of Dodge.
Bangin
My Truck, a 2005, 2500 with the Cummins TD HO is the best truck I have ever owned. Speaking of owned... thats exactly what it does to the Ford and Chevy. It's the most quiet, fuel efficient, smallest engine, and still generates the more power. This truck is amazing. though the 48re is letting me down after 90kmiles ( having trouble shifting in between first and second gear) I still rate it a 10. I have every performance upgrade you can do to the engine.... minus twin turbos and have been running the stock tranny. I'm happy it's lasted this long.
