Used 2004 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 Quad Cab Consumer Reviews
Dodge Trucks are the best overall!
This 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 is fully loaded including the 345 H.P. 'Hemi' engine. This is our third Dodge truck in a row and they keep getting better. The first was an '86' long bed which we sold after 200,000 miles - the only repair (one water pump) at 150,000. The second was a '95' Ram 4x4 which we sold at 186,000 miles to buy the 2004. The only repair to the '95' - a component in the electronic fuel injection system failed. This 2004 is a heavy duty quad cab with a short bed. We bought it with the trailer tow package as we own a 32' Prowler travel trailer. We are totally impressed with it's ability to haul that trailer around. We can't find fault with any aspect of Dodge Trucks.
Yea, Its a hemi!!!!!!!!!
Best truck I have owned so far!! Converted Ford man! I have purchased 14 new trucks in 38 years of driving. All were Fords except this one. Price & the hemi did it for me! I pull a 8000# travel trailer with no problems. Back fold down cargo deck is a must for $100.00!

You want a TRUCK, buy a Dodge
First, it seems odd that Edmunds does not list the Cummins HO Turbo Diesel as one of the choices when submitting a review. We use the truck as a daily driver, commuting about 90miles a day, because it gets BETTER fuel mileage than my 4cyl S-10, about 22 on the road. Towing a 9000# fifth wheel, we get 12- 13 and never feel overloaded or underpowered. The cabin is quieter than the 2001 Ford F150 Super Crew we traded in and the Infinty sound system kicks a**. The truck is solid, strong, and a real pleasure to drive. If you want a TRUCK, buy a Dodge - Everything else is just payments.
Got to drive one (Brothers)
I own a 97 Ford. To put it nicely, Ford half assed a shifting cable fix they broke causing the truck to stay in drive, at a bost ramp. Luckily, my brother has a Dodge 2500. What a thrill, I did not even notice the 3500 pounds I was towing behind me. The next truck I am gonning to get is a Dodge.
Sweet
Comfortable and solidly built, I love this truck. Powerful, and quick, the Hemi is a fun engine. Transmission is strong and smooth.
