I have had my Magnum for almost 2 years now and have had a ball driving this car. I have had 2 bad and worse experiences concerning the front brakes. At 9000 miles the front rotors where replaced due to very bad pedal vibration. At 23k the vibration was back and the dealed wanted to charge me $180.00 to resurface the brakes. I replaced the rotors with Power slot rotors and CarQuest ceramic pads. The car stops much better than new and for about $600.00 in parts and an hour of my time my family is safe. Overall though, my experience with my Magnum is very positive. My overall fuel economy with the Hemi is about 25.25 highway and 19.2 city Not bad for an American V8 muscle car. Thanks Dr. "Z"

Initially, I loved this car but honestly how many of all the cars that have ever been made are terrible from day one. There are so many problems, that have nothing to do with operator error, like the windows regulator, headlights that either don't work or flicker and a shifter lever that was made so cheaply that apparently it is just short of recall, the list goes on and on. This car had so much potential, but the shoddy (and overpaid at $75 an hour) workmanship along with inferior parts combine to outweigh any positives or potential for greatness this car had.

My RT has only 1800 miles so far.But so far so good.I have never owned a Dodge and I am still concerned about the longterm reliabilty of this car. However, for now I am very happy with the purchase and like so many others on this site I can't get over how people are breaking their necks to look at this car. After driving the car off the lot there was a problem with a loose upper control arm bolt which the dealer promptly fixed. It also had an alignment problem which the dealership promptly fixed. Now things seem to be working as designed.I am getting about 24 MPG on the Hwy and about 19 in town which for this type of car is good.

I took my white RT on a trip from South Bend, IN to Tampa, FL during record setting snow falls in Kentucky and Tennesse. I was able to open it up on Rt. 57 thru Illinois which was real fun. Got lots of looks. I hit the snow in Kentucky. I was extremely pleased with the handling of the ESP system. I was able to run at 40 mph, which in those conditions was flying! I was amazed at all of the high priced cars off the road in ditches ect... Spent pretty much of Xmas eve on I-24 in Tennesse. Things finally got moving again about 2pm and I was off to the races. I want you to know that this car makes you forget that you are diving long distances. Oh yeah!!! 22 mpg SWEET:)

I have had a problem on slick roads (midwest) with the anti-slip differential. The traction is very poor for this vehicle. I was told Mercedes had the best anti-slip differential on the market and this car would not have any problems. Not true. I don't like the mixture of the shiny chrome and brush interior items and I am disappointed in the passenger side leg room. When I have someone six feet tall and taller they are cramped for knee space with the seat all of the way back. I had a fog light get broken when I hit an animal in the road and to have it fixed cost $260; which I thought was a little extreme.
