My 1st suv for my growing family i wanted to occasionally drive 7 family members and have optional lay flat seats for carrying stuff from home depot without an expensive price tag. Bought it for 16,000$ in 2017 10, 000 miles and I have a flex fuel gas station so save .50 cents on gallon everytime i top up. 80,000 miles so far has never given me any problems in 4 years. Great 1st time suv for someone thats young just starting out. Maybe in 5 years will be able to afford a more luxury suv but for now its good bang for the buck.

Bought a loaded 2017 AWD GT in January 2018. Had the Chrysler employee pricing (through a grandson) and so got the $35k vehicle for $25k AND the $5,500 lifetime warranty for only $2,700. Have had very little problems with it (only one small leak from the PTO under the basic warranty); recently a replacement of the left rear taillight assembly for $100 under the lifetime warranty. Have changed the oil and filter every 5k with full synthetic; trans fluid changed every 30k; rear diff and pto fluid changed every 60k; changed plugs, belt, hoses, battery, coolant, and brakes/rotors at 100k (90% of the miles are highway). Also changed the gas cap at 50k and 100k because it started giving a code for small evap leak. Vehicle runs great and gets decent mileage, and the AWD system works great in Ohio winter weather (my wife has a job in which she HAS to get to work no matter the road conditions). We hope to get 200,000 or more out of this vehicle. Too bad Chrysler stopped selling the lifetime warranty about 11 months after we bought this vehicle.

The best combination with a powerful v6, and three rows of seats. We have been driving Didge for 26 years now and this car is great.

This vehicle has a good quality ride, driving on the freeway is a very comfortable smooth ride. And I'm talking about the 3.3 V6 engine and six speed transmission. Thus, there are some downfalls like poor mileage if you drive it like a gangster getting away from the mob. The FWD Journey 3.3 V6 is very difficult to control when turning on high accelerated turns. But, since it's not a racing Hotrod, normal driving is enjoyable. I really like my Jounney.
