Used 2012 Dodge Charger Sedan Consumer Reviews
2012 Charger RT Road and Track
I purchased this vehicle in 1st quarter of 2012. The V-8 was my original choice but decided to go for V-6 for better value and gas mileage. The V-6 was awesome; it had plenty of acceleration and with K&N filter mpg were 37plus and mid 20's. However, I was forced to change it due to raw power feel of V-8 and was just bored with 8 speed transmission with no shifting options. Make shure you buy what you wan't! You will be forced to take a hit due to depreciation of vehicle return or stay with car choice. I just kept having that regret. The Hemi is a monster. Awesome acceleration and mpg on highway are low 30's with 50 to 70 mph and on stop and go is killer at 12. Car is a head turner!
Interior lights wont shut off automatically
Lately when I crank my car all of the interior door lights in both the front and back will remain on. Ive checked to make sure that all doors are shut tight. Ive also checked to ensure that the roll light button control wasn't accidentally turned on. To make matters worse the only way that i can turn off the interior door lights is to individually press each light to switch them off. So literally I have to pull over and get out of my car and walk to the rear seats and passenger seats to press the light fixtures to off. Ive owned many vehicles in my 29 years and have never experienced such a problem. Any suggestions?

Awesome.
I bought this car in March of this year at 95k miles and have put over 10k miles in the 8 months I've owned it. I love driving this car. I have it blacked out, which includes wheels and windows being tinted and I can't stop looking at it any time I walk by it. I've had family, strangers and even policemen compliment my ride, and rightfully so as I believe the '11-14 model is the meanest thing you'll see on the street. It really has an authoritative look. It drives smooth and fuel economy is good, even for the 5 speed which doesn't get talked about as much as the 8 speed. Got from Ohio to GA in one tank averaging 34mpg, and typically I average 24mpg all around driving. I commute 17 miles both ways for 5 days with additional driving on weekends and can make one tank last 2 full weeks! As far as power is concerned, the V6 doesn't slouch. It's no pony car, mind you, but still fun to drive. As far as reliability, so far I've just had an Oil Pressure Sensor go out but it's on my to-do list. Mechanically, the car is sound and definitely recommend!
2012 Charger R/T Max
We bought this car from a used car lot in 2015 with 43K on it and was with us until it was involved in a Collision on September 1st 2020 it was such an amazing car. We barely took any care of it but it made it all the way to 183K. Highly recommend this vehicle.
