Used 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Wagon Consumer Reviews
noise
Bad Noise when back windows are down partway and front windows are up. Creates a noise loud enough to break your eardrums. Almost had an accident on highway. Thought I blew a tire.
It's the BEST!
I just recently purchased this car and I'm in heaven - I LOVE to drive it!! It is extremely comfortable, has a ton of power and rides very smooth! It's loaded with extras like steering wheel mounted radio controls, dual zone climate control, programmable garage door opener - lots of storage space in the center consoles, too. The third row seat has plenty of room even for adults which is unusual in a crossover or SUV. The step in height is great which makes it easy to get kids in and out of car seats. The only thing I wish it had standard was a back up sensor - the visibility from the back window is less than I'm used to.

Perfect
This is the most practical vehicle I've ever seen. My wife didn't want a minivan and we didn't want to deal with a huge SUV, this was a perfect marriage of both. Lots of room, rides like a car and built like a tank - it actually gets decent gas mileage. Chrysler really needs to market this vehicle a little better - there is nothing like it out there.
I like it
The Pacifica is an enjoyable car to drive and ride in. Great for long trips.
'05 Pacifica Touring FWD
Traded in our 2000 Chrysler 300M for a 2005 Pacifica. Very happy so far with the Pacifica. It has all of the luxury and power the 300 had with some extras like a better ride (yes) and a more solid feel. With the side air bags and the excellent crash rating, this is one of the safest cars you can buy today. It is not top heavy like most SUVs and is much more versatile. It is not a mini-van so it does not have a caverness interior, but for four adults and two children, there is plenty of comfort. You may have to give up the third row seating though for luggage storage when traveling long trips. Getting 17 MPG in the city and 20 on the highway.
The NON SUV........ SUV
Finally a vehicle for those of us that want SUV like qualities, but car like looks, ride and comfort. I have had my Pacifica for a month and 1/2, recently trading in my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I loved my Jeep functionality, but did not like the ride or the handling. In comes the Pacifica... a more stable, better riding and handling, super comfortable SUV like vehicle. I do not miss my Jeep at all. This is one awesome AWD vehicle. Handles super on snow and slush covered roads as I recently found out ! Very pleasent suprises are the comfort and quietness, along with all the goodies on the Touring package. To top it off, I am getting better gas mileage too. Well Done Chrysler !
Wonderful
I received the Pacifica for my fist car last year and I absolutely love it! Even being a teenager I don't regret picking this over another car. The handling and performance are great. Interior quality and appearance are superb. One of the best buys you can get for the space, luxury, and overall satisfaction. A definite must for anyone looking in this class of SUV
Best chrysler for the money
I've had my PAC5,since 4/2004. The very first one off the truck. It handles better than any vehicle I've ever owned,Chevys, Fords, Nissans Chryslers. So far hardly any exterior, or mechanical problems, at 8,000 miles. Very happy with it so far.
Poor Build Quality (Lots of repairs)
We've owned this vehicle for close to 4 years and have had many problems. Two ABS wheel sensors have gone bad & have been replaced ($150 ea). The EGR Valve went bad, but a $4 can of carburetor cleaner & a set of tools with 15 minutes under the hood fixed that problem. The EGR Valve would have cost about $250 at the dealer. Both rear windows needed the regulators replaced ($300 ea). The front left CV Joint needed to be replaced ($200). Most of the wheel bolts have broken off and needed replacement. Our gas mileage is poor 15 / 19 mpg. If this car was more reliable, we would really like it. It is great on long trips & has plenty of room. Now I wish Honda or Toyota had built our car!
Well done, Chrysler
This car screams luxury. Comfort and driveability is top notch, second to none. Versatility is key with this vehicle.
