Used 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Consumer Reviews
Very pleased with our Pacifica
We purchased a FWD base Pacifica about a month ago, to be the wagon for my wife and myself. We had considered several $25-30K competitors (Volvo and Volkswagen wagons, Hyundai and JEep SUVs), but the PAcifica won out because: 1. It's got enough room to put just about anything in its range to shame. 2. It was much more of a car than the SUVs we test drove. Its handling, particularly considering its size and weight, is very impressive. 3. It's flat out a lot more luxurious than a Volvo or Volkwagen that costs more. We take a lot of highway trips, and the Volvo V50 in particular seemed a bad highway car. The Pacifica's seats are great, and its visibility is excellent for a taller wagon.
Excellent BUT!
Car now has 42,000 miles. Thus far I'm pleased except for the following issues. Have replaced 3 batteries. They just go dead in the garage. No reason that I can see. Have replaced the backup sensor utility which was under warranty thank goodness. Car is fun to drive but does have some "blindspots" you need to be careful with. The battery issues is a puzzling one that just nags at me.

Style and Fun
The Pacifica is stylish and fun to drive. With the onboard nav. system, at a glance of the speedometer cluster you can see the map without looking toward the center radio location as on most models. With fuel prices soaring, the average I get around town is about 20, and on a trip 28. There is power if I need it and economy too.
chrysler pacifica
I have owned many Jeep grand cherokees buying/ leasing every 2-3 yrs. This time I test drove a pacifica, & loved the comfort, handling,& interior design. compared to other SUV, or crossovers Pacifica has it all> style, comfort, preformance,& tires that last ,michlelin, opposed to good year.my mileage is better than my jeeps,& this is a larger, roomer,& much more luxerious veh.
A great vehicle
I've only owned my Pacifica for a month, but it's a joy to drive. After driving a Jeep Cherokee for several years, the ride, handling and comfort of the Pacifica are excellent. After being injured in a side-impact taxi accident last October, it's also reassuring to drive the Pacifica with its 5 star crash ratings. The rear area provides plenty of space for my 2 dogs in their crates.
