Volt LT Silver Ice

Lar W, 05/23/2017
2017 Chevrolet Volt LT 4dr Hatchback (gas/electric hybrid DD)

Car delivers above average performance, exceptional efficiency, good build quality, great ergonomics, high resolution LCD screens, digital speedometer, hatchback versatility and the best combination of being an electric car without any mileage range limitations. Price with incentives makes the Volt a great value. Downsides are a cramped interior and worse visibility compared to the Prius. Why keep this powertrain to only the Volt? I wonder why GM does not add the Volt's system to a small SUV like vehicle.

When I first was interested in the Volt I talked to GM Bob Lutz. He was very easy to talk to. I bought a 2012 Volt and just loved it so much l bought a 2017 Volt but my girl friend bought a 2014. Yes we own three Volts and truly love them. Thanks Mr Lutz for your friendship and getting this project off the ground.

A ridiculously fantastic value for a city commuter

It's silent, snappy, super efficient, comfortable, easy to drive, and frankly I don't see any competition in the market for an electric commuter car with this range & quality at the amazing lease deals currently available on this car. It's frankly a no brained. My girlfriend cut her monthly car expenses in half after returning her Lexus GS lease. And she has big been to a gas station in 2 months. She says she'll never go back to a gasoline powered car. GM has a winner with the Volt!

It meets all my needs. I never buy gas. Great acceleration and distance. Fits my family’s needs. No warranty work has been needed

One of the 4 best vehicles I have owned in 52 year

I just can't understand why there is not more Volts on the road. We have owned ours for about 2 months and I have been extremely impressed. It has more than exceeded my expectations. My only quibbles are the large amount of hard plastic inside and a it's little hard to get in and out of, especially in back. The quiet ride and ultra smooth drivetrain more than make up for it however. I totally recommend this vehicle! Six months later I am still 100% satisfied with this vehicle. If GM utilizes this drive train in a mid sized SUV, I will be the first line to purchase one. as of 10-23-18 still love the car. Absolutely no problems.
