Used 2016 Chevrolet Volt Consumer Reviews
I love my Volt!
I have had the car for 3 months and I'm really happy with it, when the weather is cold I preheat the car and is very comfortable and the heat on the steering wheel is a plus. It has great acceleration. I do plug the car every other day since one charge is enough for me to commute to work 20 miles per day.

Worth a look
This is a surprisingly well-made car. Quiet, smooth ride...with a comfortable drivers position. Rear seats are tight but comfortable. I have been exceeding 50 miles on a charge since taking delivery about 6 weeks ago, and have only used about 3 gallons of gas in my first 1000 miles. Lots of low-end torque ...this car really moves out from a stoplight. All the latest active safety features are available if you get the Premier version. You owe it to yourself to give this one a look if you're in the market for a compact, near-luxury vehicle. Price paid in this review is before the $7500 Federal tax credit.

Quite & fun car to drive but needs improve in intr
Performance of how quickly it accelerates, how well it handles turns and how quite the ride are consistent with the reviews of others. I especially like the adaptive cruise control that comes with 2017; this feature along with lane assist feature may not work perfectly all the time but comes handy in highly congested traffic and if I ever doze off while driving. Four things that I wish Chevy Volt had to make it a nearly perfect car are : 1) have option of moon roof 2) home link 3) have handle above the window for passenger to hold onto 4) front camera view to inform how close my front bump is.

Great car, Powerful EV
2 weeks so far, Car is awesome. EV mode power is great, never felt the EV mode. It's as good as normal gas engine car. Exterior and interior designs are fantastic. Love Apply car play and Andriod auto integration, it just seemless. Few -ves : 1. Rear visibility is not great, the trunk design blocks for better visibility. 2. Rear middle seat if ok for Kids, but big kids finds it difficult to get in and out. Also you wont have option to move door to door, as the center block is on your way

Review of the 2016 Volt LT
Before you buy this car you should know that you are buying a plug in hybrid. This is different from most hybrid designs. This car's electric batteries can be recharged to give you (depending on how you drive) over 50 miles of range. This is what attracted me to this car - a relatively long range electric car with a ICE to back it up. If you're going for short (up to 25 miles) commuter trips everyday, then you may never use gas again. I found that I use the batteries when I'm in stop and go traffic and the ICE when I'm on the highway. The car gets excellent (42mpg) using the ICE on the highway where the engine is most efficient and the batteries are the least. The ability to switch to the most efficient mode is a big plus for me. The car looks great! An update - After over 2 years of ownership, I'm still in love with this car. I've looked at the Honda Clarity and this is a better car for my needs. The back seat is small but 95% I don't use it. The hatchback design is superior to a sedan's trunk because of usable space. The hatchback gives more vertical space for the entire length of the trunk. The regenerative braking is simpler and more aggressive in the Volt. This car is perfect for my needs. You may find different.
