Working with the tried and true
Bought this '05 Trailblazer as a replacement vehicle. Found it online at an area Chevrolet dealership. This particular truck has aged well, only 92K miles on the odometer, not a scratch and was taken care of by the previous owner. An LS model, with the Bose stereo, 6-disc CD changer, sliding sunroof, so there's a nice couple of options on it. I used to own an '07 Trailblazer and had a very good experience with it. The 4.2L Vortec -6 is plenty strong enough to suit my purposes, albeit it can seem a bit thirsty if you're not careful and a little heavy on the throttle. All-in-all, a good value with some good features for it's time. Hope to get similar results from this one like the old one.

Loved my Trailblazer
I currently have 97,000 miles on my car and in all that time the ONLY repair/maintenance I've ever had to do was new tires, new left motor mount, front brakes and a new wire for the passenger side front headlight. All these that I just listed were done w/in the last 8000 miles. I've had 0 tranny issues. It is super comfy, fast, durable, handles well. We just had a baby so just traded it in for a new Escape, but I will miss it. It has by far been my favorite vehicle I've ever owned!

Car going in reverse while in Drive
Is anyone experiencing problems with the trailblazer going in reverse while in drive? It has happened to me twice, once in traffic, while stopped at a light on a slight hill. The only way it would go forward was to turn it off and restart it.
Lots of problems in a short time
I have had this vehicle for over a year now. When I got it, it had 85,000 miles on it. I love the way it drives and handles, tows great as well, and is comfortable. When I first got it, I had to replace the fuel pump $300. Next, the number 5 cylinder= $3300. Now at 94,000 miles I have a transmission leak on the line, transmission shifts hard and may need to be replaced.
gas and money hog. no resale value.
i have owned for 3 years bought with 60k miles replaced almost all of the front suspension, pads and rotors twice. major electrical problems fuses keep blowing for no reason along with the wiring for the heater panel. would not recommend.
