Beautiful car with underlying defect
I purchased my car with 55,000 miles on it and a cracked dash. After being told by the dealer that "those trucks get cracks on their dashes all the time," I decided to do some research. $650 for a new dash in Texas. Local dealership was willing to replace at no cost, even though my truck was out of its warranty period. However, there are thousands of owners who have not been as lucky. There is an entire Facebook page and class action lawsuit in place due to GM'a unwillingness to acknowledge the defect in the 07-13 dashes. The cracks always present behind the instrument panel and in the upper left hand side of the airbag compartment. This will be my last Tahoe until GM does the right thing and recalls these dashes.

2011 Tahoe LTZ
Good reliable vehicle for several passengers. Safe and secure. Fuel mileage not great.

SUV that was very basic
This SUV will get you from point A to point B. However, this vehicle was in need of a upgrade compared to what other SUV on the market in the same year and price point offer. Chevy with the new body style did fix a lot of these comfort issues in 2015, but the 2014 model is just basic as they get. Bluetooth sucked, and electronics were way behind the times. Noise levels were poor and the overall feel was cheap. Vehicle was reliable, but not very comfortable based on what other manufacturer provided in 2014 SUV's I road in. Dash cracked in first 40,000 miles, door handle fell apart about 85,000 miles, just to name a few aggravating things that went wrong that should have not. Another thing I did not like is the backup camera was in the rear view mirror which blinded you at night if you needed to back up with a trailer. You could turn it off, but was a pain to do so.

Great vehicle
I drove this vehicle for a little less then a year. I bought it with 26k miles and traded it in with 60k. I couldn't have been happier with the truck. It got reasonable gas mileage for its size and was very reliable. I never had a single issue with it. The stock tires were still good when I traded it in and probably had another 10k miles left. I towed a 5k lb boat/trailer with ease. Buy one!!
Great Large SUV... Could Use Some Small Tweaks
My wife and I leased a 2011 Tahoe LT 4X4 about two months ago. It replaced a 2006 Grand Cherokee Limited (w/ Hemi) my wife had been driving. As our family is expanding, we needed an SUV with more room and the Tahoe fit the bill. Exterior styling is awesome and the powertrain seems very good. We got the 20-inch wheels as part of the Luxury Package and really adds to the styling. The ride on this SUV is excellent and I cannot wait to take it on a long trip. I would suggest a few interior tweaks, including add storage "bins" on the sides of the truck area and a coin holder in the console (it kills me that a $50k SUV does not have a coin holder) and a larger rear-view mirror.
