Used 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Double Cab Consumer Reviews
bad brakes
I have 15,000 miles on the truck and it is on its second set of brake pads and they a starting to make noise, dealership says Chev will not do anything, got two friends who bought a Ford and the other a dodge at the same time and have had NO brake issues, my advice go by a ford or a dodge.

2020 diesel 2500HD - meh
The turning radius on this truck is laughable. Seems like I can't turn around without a three-point turn and I can't park it in a vertical parking slot without pulling in and backing out to get the truck in between the parking lanes - even though I am on the far side of the lane to turn into the parking spot (embarrassing). I am totally unimpressed with the truck's electronics too. So far, my tailgate won't auto-close anymore, my auto high beams, out of lane detection, and blind spot detection don't work consistently - don't work in the rain and inconsistent in other conditions. I have an annoying "add coolant" warning that is false continuing to show up even when I cancel it and I am now getting a low pressure tire alarm for a tire that has the correct psi. Oh, and the radio has an annoying tendency to lock up when you turn the truck on and doesn't typically clear if you turn the truck off and back on. Now, my wireless phone connection to the truck locks up when you try to make a call or, it won't let you hang up a call when you try to - which prevents your cell phone from making or receiving calls. You have to turn off the truck and then turn it back on to clear the problem (and then it happens again on the next call). My truck averages 15 - 16 mpg (diesel) since I've had it. These types of intermittent problems are random, so the service dept can't find them..... I expect better from Chevrolet.... meh.

Really
Most certainly a yankee designed this Texas edition truck, a mason jar does not fit in either cup holder. I’ve had to lock it in 4 wheel drive 10 times already to get out of mud holes. Drove a toyota 10 years only had to use 4 wheel drive maybe 4 times. Not impressed with the towing ability either. Also having a glitch in the backup camera an radio.

Gm below average outdated fuel system
If history has taught us anything General Motors couldn’t build or design a diesel engine for pick ups that are worth a crap. Along comes Isuzu Who actually built and designed The Duramax and GM put their crappy fuel system on it. Another epic fail by GM they should’ve just let isuzu design and build the whole engine and fuel system. There should be recalls on all of them for their crappy fuel system
