HARD SEATS...nice dash board
TEST DRIVE TEST DRIVE FOR AT LEAST 45min.....Butt and back pain. Chevy should have invested money in the interior and quality and less in the dashboard.

sexy car
I guess my only complaint would be the first 1/2 sec of take off is slugish. almost feels like the brake is on. then it goes like hell. the park assist / lane control keeps coming on and off. dealer is not sure what is wrong. bucket seats are hard. radio sound is poor. There has been a squeak in the steering column that the dealer hasn't been able to fix. The door handles don't always open on the first try. 50,000 miles on it now just replaced the tires. the squeak in the steering wheel is still there and they had to replace the shifter cable twice.gas mileage is nowhere as good as it was.but its still better than most.

Unbelievable Problems
Let me start off by saying I traded in a little Toyota Prius C for this car (big mistake!) thinking it would be a nice, reliable larger vehicle. I was wrong. I purchased this car in March. With less than 1500 miles on it I have had it in the shop twice. The first time the car had less than 1k miles on it!! It feels like a transmission problem. I am familiar with the system where the car will turn itself off while at a stoplight and then back on again- I'm fine with that system. What is not okay is when driving in DC rush hour traffic, accelerating, braking, or slowing down and the car will violently jerk. The first time it felt as if I was rear-ended. I took it the dealer and they said they could not find any codes or problems with it. A week later, I had to drop it off it there again tonight. The car is unsafe to drive- the violent jerking is scary and in heavy traffic, cars behind you don't have much warning. It makes a loud clunking noise sometimes and sounds like the engine is going to drop out. The jerking is so bad if you don't have your seatbelt on, you WILL be thrown forward and injured. I can't believe this. This vehicle is less than one month old. Another issue is the Chevy MyLink system touchscreen. Occasionally it won't turn on, and other times Apple Carplay won't work. I called Chevy and they offered some "troubleshooting" tips but nothing was a permanent fix. I am having the dealer take a look at it as well. Chevy said Apple Carplay not working with certain Iphones is a "known problem". Then why has it not been fixed??! I am frustrated. I traded in a perfectly good little, reliable Toyota and got this monster. I like the car otherwise, but not enough to buy one again. It is very comfortable (compared to the tiny Prius C). My gas mileage is pretty decent- hovers around high 20's and occasionally dips up or down. I'm very short and find visibility not to be an issue. If It didn't have the jerking problem, I would love this car.

trying to figure out how to get rid of it....
I was out looking for a car since my old car was totaled. Needed to get a car fast. Dealer where I leased my Nissan Rouge (story for another day) "helped" me get out of that lease and into this car. I purchased the CPO car on December 17 and on the 21st, it crapped out and died in front of all places a Chevy dealer. I pulled into the lot and called On Star. They did a diag on the car and told me to stop driving it immediately and take it to the nearest Chevy dealer. I informed her I was there already and to send me the diag report via email. I dropped my keys in the key slot and got a ride home since it was 8:30 at night. Following day, the dealer called me and asked what is going on with the car; I told him it gave me a reduced power message. He said that he would look at it and get back to me later that day. Calls me back and states they cannot get the part for the car due to it being a weekend and I can come pick it up. I said to him that I can’t drive it, his response was "OH yeah, you can leave it here”. I said since its Christmas weekend, I need a loaner car. Fast forward, I get my car back on 1/5/2019, 15 days later. They needed to replace the whole drive by wire system, whatever that is. That was the bad stuff. Here is the not so good. 1. Driving range - I drive minimum of 200 miles a day and although it states I average about 30 MPG, it does not feel that way. Every 1.75 days I have to go to the gas station as the driving range is about 290-320 per tank depending on how much traffic I am sitting in driving from PA-NYC and back. A mid-sized car like this should NOT have a 13 gal. fuel tank, 16 gal min. IMHO. 2. Remote Start – I live in a cold climate area and I like to have a nice warm car to get into when I come out in the morning and have my seats nice and warm. I set the remote start on the radio to warm up the seats w/ Remote start but according to Chevy, the power to the seats are reduced and you might not feel any warmth. WTF!!! Why have this option there if it does not work, as you would expect. 3. Climate control – Part of the remote start feature, we had some snow/sleet last night and I remote started the car this AM and about 5-7 minutes later I went out to the car to get something and the defroster seemed to not be doing anything. Before I hit the on button on the car, I cranked up the blower and nothing. I had to press the on button then turn the defrosters on. Again, WTF!!! GM failed at the basics of remote start. The good. It looks nice, and it comfortable….that is about as much as I can say about this car. I have been a loyal GM (mostly Chevy) for my whole life and the past two Chevy’s I had, including this one, I can’t stand. I even have a 2011 Cadillac SRX that I recently bought with 18K miles on it and that has issues. GM, you need to get your acts together or I will never buy another GM product again. Including a Corvette and/or a “V” series Caddy when I retire from work.
