2025 Chevrolet Equinox SUV Consumer Reviews

Love my 2025 Chevrolet Equinox LT!
I traded my 22 Honda CRV for the 25 Equinox LT Metalic black. Wasn't keen on color at first but love it now. I test drove for the fun of it and the vehicle sold itsself! Has more power than my CRV, the seats are so comfortable, the leather heated seats and steering wheel are the best! The heat and air conditioning so much better also! The camera also blows Honda away with the front and back up camera can see top of vehicle, safety features are better than the Honda. The infotainment system blows the Honda away. Very easy to use. Screen is huge, people can hear me on Bluetooth. Honda never could, they heard everything else. Honda very shady with 18,000 miles had to pay for so many things they said needed to be serviced and wouldn't pass inspection as they said needed new tires. Never in my life did I have to get new tires at 18,000 miles. Someone told me they sell with crappy soft tires for a better test drive. Never again with Honda! Anyone else who owns a Honda CRV or a Toyota Rav 4 (as had that in the past also,) take a 25 Chevy Equinox for a test drive you will love it!

Introducing Kiwi
Just picked up my 2025 equinox active in cacti green with the white roof top and named her kiwi. I am just odd at how packed with safety and technology. The top level of this trim is even more south than my Subaru, which was top-tier. Since I made a tool around in the city and in the burbs, I’m not worried much about not having a lot of power as I do not do a lot of long trips anymore at my age. This is a smooth and comfortable ride and easy to use technology even for us older people. The interior is high-quality materials much better than the 19 equinox I had and I also love the sporty and adventurous look of this active model.

What a change!
We moved from a 2022 into a 2025…wow!! Chevy has outdone itself in terms of improvements and redesign. It feels like a whole new class of vehicle! The digital control displays are impressive!

New and old together
I've had a 2018 Premier since new 150k on the clock. Never had any issues so going into the 2025 I wasn't concerned with the reliability of the drive train whatsoever. Almost everything that made it a Premier is standard as far as safety features go. I didn't like the red RS interior so I got an LT midnight with the roof and conveince II package. Absolutely love the car only problem buying this one that I can think of was the fact my old one had alot of miles so trade in wasn't good so my son owns it now.

Best bang for your buck
Traded in a Mercedes glc300 for this vehicle, don't laugh..... but the Mercedes was the worst vehicle we ever owned. We wanted safety features along with a comfortable ride and a decent amount of room. We got the active trim with the tech package and the convenience package 3, which I highly recommend. Great looking vehicle with a ton of features. The speakers are not great. The infotainment system is easy to use and the controls have knobs and buttons!.....the Mercedes has finger slide controls.
