Used 2010 Chevrolet Equinox Consumer Reviews
Great Vehicle!
This car is fantastic - beautiful inside and out! I purchased the 4 cyl. and it has plenty of power (I used to drive a 6 cyl. 4.3L Blazer and don't miss any loss of power). The 2010 Equinox is very quiet, shifting is smooth, and cruises at 70 mph at only 2000 RPM's due to 6 speed automatic. I'm getting 28 MPG combined local and hwy. driving. I love the Bluetooth and automatic climate control the 2LT offers. You also get the fog lights on the 2LT, which look much better than the fog light covers on the LS or 1LT. I think Chevrolet is missing the boat comparing the 2010 Equinox to the Honda CRV or Toyota RAV4 - they should be comparing it to the Lexus RX330/350!
Never thought I'd buy a Chevy
After several weeks of intense research, I bought a 2010 Equinox. The Hyundai Tucson was nice but seemed harsher and less refined. The Ford Escape was my first choice but the more I looked, the more the Equinox won me over with it's styling and features. It looks great inside and out. The seats are comfortable and fit and finish is excellent. The 4 cylinder engine growls a little when pressed but the power is always there. In ECO mode, the transmission feels like it hunts a bit but I don't find this a problem. The ride is solid and handling is precise and controlled. A pleasure to drive this car.

First Good GM Car
My wife and I finally bought a GM NOX - and I have say it's a nice car. We looked at the Rav4 and Nissan Rogue and this car for it's class and features was the best. So far highway miles have been about 28.3 and City is of course lower. The interior of the Cabin is quite nice and I love a lot of the features. The drive is good, although this car does NOT have the pickup of our old V6 Altima, it's not bad for a car of this size. My wife and I have always bought either Japanese or German, and I can now say that GM has come a long way at least with this vehicle. We are happy.
Great Little Crossover
We have had the 2010 Equinox LTZ since 7/20/2010 and my prior vehicle was a Silverado 2500HD. Great looks, engine has adequate power. Fun to drive. I'm short and what I've noticed is the drivers seat is deeper than my previous so it's not comfortable for a short person. Also the console arm rest is back too far for us short people to comfortably use it. The headrest tilts slightly forward so if you have a ponytail it hits you in the back of the head. What was Chevy thinking when they put the door locks in the middle with the radio controls? Bad move there.
so unhappy
I just brought a 2010 equinox and I been having problems with this suv sense day one which is crazy I feel like its not worth me making payments on. When I start it up it shakes until the vehicle idol down on top of that I keep hearing poppin sounds from the rear end sometimes when I go over a bump or just when Im driving. The check engine light came on and the next day it was off. I took this vehicle back to the dealership 5 times and its still not fix they was supposed to pick it up yesterday and they have not pick it up yet, Im so disappointed with the dealership as well as vehicle. I feel they should put me into another car or fix this thing cause Im unhappy with it. What can I do.
