Used 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche Consumer Reviews
Best Personal Use Truck Yet
This has to be the best personal use truck on the market. 16 mpg city, 22 mpg on highway, tows my 7000 pound boat without trouble, rides great, and comes standard with removable bed cover, built in locking storage (which work great as an ice chest), bed mat, etc. No mechanical issues, warranty expired without ever needing service.
My 03 Avalanche
I bought my truck 3 weeks after it was built. I love this truck! Saw it at the SF auto show 3yrs ago as a concept truck and loved it then. I was looking at Suburban,Yukon XL, Trailblazers, Envoy XL. But found my Avalanche (with no - cladding!) my wife loved the truck too! With my two wins I bought it that day.

2004 Avalanche 2WD
I purchased this truck for 2800 with 175,000 miles the truck had typical rust on the rocker panels and few spots on rear panel. The inside is in good shape considering the year, the engine has a ton of power still lift in in trans shifts perfectly. I upgraded exhaust to a Flowmaster to give that v8 a deeper sound. I love the rear panels they were faded when I bought it but plastic restorer they look new I can honestly say so far so good, about the only thing I wish I got the 4x4 model do to the snow we get in Chicago I will put sand bags and cross my fingers lol

Most Versatile Suv Yet
I've had this vehicle almost a year now and have been nothing but happy! The comfort, power, and versatility give it a package that my friends envy. It drives smoother than a tahoe, and has done everything that I have needed it to do. Yeah of course I wish it got better gas mileage (16 mpg overall), but which SUV/Truck owner doesnt.
Nice Truck
This is a nice, quite functional vehicle with lots of 1st class features. I did have trouble with the tailgate lock that took 3 or 4 trips to the dealer to get properly repaired.
I love my truck
The best vehicle I have owned thus far. The versibility is wonderful. It is a car and truck mixed into one vehicle. I can take my grandkids for a ride and haul pretty much what I want as well. The handling of the truck is great--in rain or snow I have the capability of maneuvering the vehicle to my satisfaction. Gas mileage is okay, but of course we all want better efficiency. We have to sacrifice something for the luxury we want. The quietness of the vehicle is another plus.
AVTK
This is a great vehicle. I can use it to go out to go out in the evening to nice places OR to haul pine straw from my local Home Depot.
avalanche 2003
For the past 10 months I have had no problems what so ever with my Avalanche. The comfort is unsurpassable the ride is as good as my wifes Jag S type. This is my first truck and rest assured not my last. It is incredable in the snow.
2002 Avalanche Review
I bought this one used, but I'm happy with it. It has some air noise that I don't like, but the ride and performance is great. I haven't had it for a year yet, so I'm still learning.
