Used 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche Consumer Reviews
The best vehicle ever built, bar none
I have driven from Tucson to Las Vegas once and from Tucson to Laughlin, Nevada twice. The Avalanche drove beautifully, the ride was comfortable and the mileage was great. I have used it to haul 8' x 4' drywall, which i layed flat in the bed. It fit in there perfect and I was still able to close the tailgate. My opinion of this vehicle is that it is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
great ride
So far the vehicle has operated flawlessly. The ride is smooth. The handling is great, and the power is awesome. The fuel economy is not wonderful, but the smooth ride was a pleasant surprise.

Love it
I have the truck without the BSM and I luv it!!
Make sure u know what u r getting
Purchased the Avalanche z71 on May'03. Love every minute of owning this truck. I love the design (even though it may be controversial) and the versatility. Fuel mileage is on par with other trucks of its class, so it does get good mileage compare to other full size trucks. As a truck, the ride is exceptionally comfortable, handling is good for a vehicle this size, and interior features are quite nice. As an SUV, however, the interior is quite spartan compared to other SUV's. But then again, this is not a SUV, nor is it really a truck. That is the beauty of the Avalanche!
Great Truck for the money
This is a true SUV. We use it as our family hauler. Back seat plenty big for kids. Use it as a pickup for bringing anything home fromthe local home depot We just got back from a vacation where we loaded the back end with anything that would fit and we towed a 22 foot boat and truck worked great. Great truck!
