Purchased at 20000, now has 150,000. Needed alternator and new cruise control but worth it. Car accelerates at 65 like no one's business and gets excellent average MPG on highway of 29-30 on open road. Trim around door is shrinking and expensive to replace. Love this car and will definitely keep it til it falls apart. Excellent car!

I have nothing but good things to say about my car. It has necer let me down. And if not for the rust that is eating away at it I would keep it.

Simply Unreliable

Bought and drove a 1993 Buick LeSabre from Dec. 1998- Jun. 2001 (bought at 80k; sold at 140k). Vehicle required significant repairs appx. every 4 months: Transmission, alternator (2x), computer parts, power steering, etc. Cost me over $6000 in repairs over just 2 and 1/2 years. THIS IS NOT a car you want to buy USED. It is NOT reliable. It was NOT built to last.

I have only owned this car since February and I have had two problems with it. First the climate control stopped working. Found out it was the CC panel inside the car. Disconnected it and the car was on it's way. A week later the car suddenly died on the side of the road. Had it towed home and monkeyed with the alternator (took it out and put it back in about 6 times!) and now it works! I don't ask questions anymore, I just bought roadside asst instead!
