Used 2012 BMW 7 Series Consumer Reviews
Every 6 months
I brought this car a in 2016 and it has been the shop every 6 months for one thing or another. Now the latest is that every time it rains the car won't start, you have to wait until it dries out and then it will start, I took it to the dealership and was told they couldn't find anything wrong yet it keeps doing it. Based on my experience I won't recommend this car.

Beats my Lexus hands down!
After driving the Lexus LS cars for 15 years and starting to feel geriatric, this wonderful machine gave me new life! I bought it used with 52K miles and now approaching 80K mile mark with no problems - just oil change and new tires have been only expenses. 400 hp plus superb handling makes even going to the grocery store a thrill. The power and brakes are fantastic and seats quite comfortable. Quiet and refined if you wish, or leave everyone one in the dust with this car. Beautiful lines and prefer 2012 style over newer 7 series models. I finally "get it" about the ultimate driving machine...

750ix
I have leased 7s for 25 years. This is the very best by miles. The X drive showed its value last terrible winter. I haved drived the car for 10 months and hasn't been in for repairs. No bugs. Past 7s have had a number of technical problems and a return for service. This is an exceptional auto and is fun to drive with comfort and safety . The I drive is much improved compared to past models. it is very well worth the cost. Highly recommended.
BMW Means Bring My Wallet For The BMW Repairs
This is my second 750li , I should from the first one not to waste my money, This model was in the shop within the first week I bought it, and at the time of purchase it was only four years old and had to have MAJOR engine work, thankfully was still under 30day warranty, a year later more engine problems, this time BMW had a recall for the issue , 2years later more engine problems and over 3grand in repairs, and then the third year out of nowhere all the.lights came.on the dash and lit up like a Christmas tree, went to a Authorized BMW repair he suggested just to trade it in, then went to BMW, where they have three different suggestions they are unsure of, I wouldn't own another BMW if it was free, such a waste of.such a beautiful vehicle.
Second BMW 7 series in our family!!
Got my 750i a year ago. Car was from 4 years lease program. BMW Canada provides extended warranty on it. On delivery there were quite a few problems ( thermostat, knocking in steering column, alignment, weak front drive shaft). BMW fixed everything without questions. After one year of owning have no problems at all.
