Drives great, but horrible quality.
The car drives great, it’s smooth and fast and pretty economical for the power you get. But the quality is pure trash, can’t believe BMW built such a crap car. Plastics inside melting and I live in the north. Seals for headlights allowing water in, trash. Should be recalled. Gaskets done at 90k miles and oil leaking onto the exhaust manifold creating smoke. Random lights stop working. Headlights have to be programmed for a high cost if anything happens. AC fan giving out at 90k miles. Any issue and the dealer tries to charge upwards of $1k. Luckily I can do most of the work myself but I couldn’t I would’ve spent thousands on this car by now. Absolutely disappointed in BMW and I’ll never buy another one unless it’s a classic or one made before 2006. I’ve had Toyotas, Lexus, VW, Audi, Nissan and soooo many other cars. Although this drives better than most, the quality is so bad that I can’t believe there’s not a class action against BMW for some of these issues. Every blog I read it’s the same issues from the same people. Now this week, the mirror blinker and one of the parking cameras stopped working. In order to fix the headlight I had to remove the whole bumper. The TMS modules have to be programmed. No spare tires. No dipstick, so any oil issues leave you guessing. Paint chipping in the front. Foglights getting condensation in them. I can go on for days. Just don’t buy this car. BMW needs to apologize to owners and fix them at no charge. Luckily the Thermostat issue is covered and there’s an extended warranty on it but that’s the only thing they’ve admitted fault on. Why are my door handles melting??? I’m trying to get rid of this car asap but the value dipped so much that idk that it’s even worth taking the loss. I’m praying things don’t keep breaking but realistically I know they will. @bmw do better. I miss my Touareg.

Worst car ever
BMW 528 Constant break down and very expensive repairs. Worst car ever. Head Leads fog up, seals break and best engine blew up with 90,000 miles. Dealer Hendricks comment - bad luck. Worst service, worst car.

The best premium car for the money
I bought a 2015 535i in 2019 with 30,000 miles, I've had it for three years and have had no mechanical or electrical issues. It is manufactured with very good quality, the design is spectacular, the car is spacious, beautiful and very good in the city and on the highway. I have had several cars from other brands and from the same segment or category, but I had many problems with the others. Do not forget it is a premium vehicle and some failure can occur, I recommend this vehicle, this brand, this model.
