Outstanding Sedan
I've owned this car (Xenons, Premium & Winter Pkgs) for a month and have been very pleased. The driving dynamics are superb but why repeat what every publication has already said. From the outside the car appears small but from the driver's seat the feel is quite substantial. The car feels as solid as a rock at all speeds. Theres plenty of room up front, Im 6 ft, 200 lbs and the car fits me with ample room to spare. The front seats (nonsport) are as comfortable & supportive as any Ive ever sat in. The drivers relationship to all the controls is excellent and outward visibility is great in all directions. The adaptive Xenon headlights are fantastic. The car is quick but not a speed racer.
335i sedan
2007 335i is a great car. Twin turbos supply plenty of horses yet good fuel economy. Typical great BMW handling and braking. Interior is well laid out and more room in the back than previous 3 series. Have really enjoyed the car!

2007 328xi (automatic)
Bought as CPO with 29k miles. Live in Vermont - snow/ice normal here. Now has 97k miles. Haven't fixed anything!! Regular dealer service (oil, inspections). Changed spark plugs at 95k. Best car with AWD I have ever driven - sooo safe! Fast, great breaking, superb handling. I'd recommend buying on of these new, or CPO with 30k or less miles.
M3-Like Performance
Just purchased 2007 335 Sedan w/ Spt./Prm./Sat/Auto. Incredible car. Keep in mind that the sedan is the same body style as 2006, only visual difference is the badge and dual exhaust tips. It will absolutely rocket. Have owned an M3, Benz 230K, and BMW 328. This car is equal to a current M3 in my opinion as far as acceleration and handling. There is no other car in this class that can compare with this degree of power, handling, interior and exterior style. Bluetooth is awesome feature. Stereo fabulous. Have kids so must have the sedan. Actually, I like the rear-end on the sedan better than the coupe. Incredible car!
Expensive to Maintain
BMW performance is excellent, and the car looks good. However, if you want to own a used BMW without warranty, you will get very disappointed. I have owned different types of used cars some even older, but none compares to a BMW. The maintenance of BMW is a disappointment. There is always a service engine light on the dashboard that still requires high attention. I overhauled the heating system, replaced the water pump ($600), thermostat ($180), Labor ($360) and the coolant reservoir. Six months later, the car started overheating. Long story short. I traded the BMW for a Nissan Altima which makes me happier than I did with the BMW. Before I got the BMW, I used to admire people driving the BMW and wondered how it feels. Today, when a see people in a BMW, I wonder what is going on in their mind with that check engine light on the dashboard that requires costly attention. If you love the BMW so much, lease it.
