Great car, horrible battery

2021 Audi e-tron Premium 4dr SUV AWD (electric DD)

My 2021 Audi e-tron with 56,000 miles lost a lot of range suddenly November 2023. A 100% charge range of only 171 miles. An 80% charge range of 156 miles. This never went back up either. The temperature never went below 50° outside. I always charge at 80% unless I'm taking a trip And I do this every night at home. I rarely use a fast charger unless I'm taking a trip and need to get home. I spoke to Audi about this and they said the battery health was fine, battery degradation was normal and that there were no error codes so the battery was in good health. This is ridiculous to me. Not to mention that a $75,000 vehicle is now only worth $32,000 for trade in value. And now the e-tron has a battery recall due to a fire risk. Before the battery issues, the car was one of my favorites. And I was all on board the electric vehicle evolution. Not so much now.

We love the smooth drive and powerful pickup when needed (or wanted). Still learning how to use all the gadgets but they are pretty easy to figure out.

Drives like a gem.. Super quite and smooth... Charges fast and plenty of range. Looking at the etron GT next..

Uninspiring and Non Functioning Features

This is the 4th Audi I have owned, definitely my last. The AudiConnect feature is worthless, it rarely connects. The performance of the car is basic, but will get you from point A to point B. The biggest frustration is that the AudiConnect app never works. It is sold as a great tool to monitor and control your vehicle, however has only worked 1 out of the 6 months I have owned the vehicle. The dealership and Audi have been ineffective at addressing the issue. I spend hours each week waiting on hold, sometimes up to 2.5 hours, to find out if they have resolved the issues…never a resolution or explanation. Very disappointed long time customer, as I continue to pay for functions that do not work
