Technology that Really Works!!!

Awesome car, all the bells and whistles. I you live for gadgets this is your car! If you like style and chrisma-the A-Spec package is the way to go. The dealer is a little vague on "What the A-Spec" package consist of and it is a ala carte package. You build at dealership level to your unique driving pleasure. I went all out from sway bars, strut tower braces, dampening springs, performance shocks, to full dress ground effects to the wing on the trunk. This car feels and out handles my 2002 Trans Am show car. It feels like you are part of the road and when you come into that turn it feels like you are on rails-tight, secure and sure footed. I really recommend this car! Enjoy-one I am!

Style (Jet Fighter looks ... Black Exterior with Parchment Interior ... None of the other color options can compare with this Luxo selection) Performance (Gotta love the passing power) Navigation Unit (Finds most addresses, restaurants, hotels and other locations with ease) Voice activated controls (For when you are bored with your long commute in traffic...and she doesn't mind it !!!) Price (FAGETABOUTIT!!! None of the other manufacturers can compare - feature for feature - they were all many thousands more!!!) With all the features this car has to offer I am just hoping that not too many others buy it because I like seeing only one or two on the road during my commute each day

Did I jump the gun?

My car usage is about 75% city, 25% highway, so I was being realistic when I predicted my MPG. The Acura TL is projected to get 21/29, but so far I've been getting a ridiculous 15.5 MPG, and needless to say, I am thoroughly disappointed. I was highly anticipating the relief in MPG, which was one of the deciding factors during my car-buying process, but 15.5 MPG is SUV territory. I feed my car the suggested 91 octane, I drive with a soft foot, and the A/C gets next to no use.

Have Fun, be Responsible!

Interior: superb electronics and AC (a must in AZ), very stylish; seats are short, lack thigh support. Exterior: good curb appeal. Large turning radius; front bumper scrapes every driveway. Visibility is more sporty than sedan like. 0-25 is good, 25-80 is smooth and superb. Handles brilliantly, feels safe. Feel the road - rides best with (costly) Michelins - everything else detracts from sporty feel. This is a firm, not cushy ride. Quieter than an Accord, but more road noise than a Mercedes or Camry. Everyone likes driving this car. Smallish trunk, rear seats do not fold down, so, not good for moving stuff. If you can afford it, I doubt you can find a better car.

nice, but flawed

PRO: Lots of engine power, and a nice sound system. CON: It does have several big problems. The torque steer in first gear with a stick is SCAREY. IT CAN almost steer YOU OFF THE ROAD. The low wind dam under in the front will scrape on most downhill driveways. The turning Radius is very large for a midsized car, It remind me a large truck. The lack of a bump strip on the sides has resulted in may dings on the doors. The rear bumper seems to get dinged easily. It not a great amount of fun to drive. It drives more like a good family sedan (Accord, Passat, or Camry) than a sport sedan.
