Type S.. MDX
My first SUV, second Acura. The Type S Advanced is top of the line, the extras are amazing. Very spacious, larger than I am used to. Everyone that has been in it, front seat or back agree the ride, comfort, accessories are outstanding. Lots of settings fron drive modes to massaging seats. In Sport+ the car shows off the turbo Type S powerplant. Great combination with the SH/AWD - a very secure, easy to handle package. I look forward to many miles with this Acura.

Wind noise-No guts-no SiriusXM
Have had my 2025 MDX for 2 months. Too much wind noise when traveling over 50 mph. Slow on acceleration then rides smoothly. There is no SiriusXM. This is a real problem for me.

Comfortable but so underwhelming
Bought a 2024 Advanced in September of 2023 and 12k later in March of 2024 I traded it. Got a 2023 Aviator Black Label $10k under msrp. The MDX is so underwhelming in performance and the mpg you get for being slow is terrible. The Aviator crushes the MDX in every way, 28 speakers Rebel sound is better and I didn’t think that was possibly, 30 position seats way comfortable but it gets the same mpg the MDX does…. BUT it has 400 hp and 415 trq on 275 22”wheels. MDX really wants premium badly and the Aviator loses 5% of its performance if you run 87 octane. BTW…Lincoln’s are WAY too expensive for what it is. $10k off their sticker is a good starting point. They’re delusional in who they think they are.

Disappointed in trim levels
I currently drive a 2016 Acura MDX, and it’s been a great car. I test drove a 2024 model. Handling is good, comfort is good. I did not like the touchpad interface for the infotainment system. I live in Texas, so ventilated seats are a must on a new car. To get them on the MDX, you must get their top-level trim, which adds about $15k over the base model. I just didn’t feel it was worth the money compared to the competition.
