Used 1991 Acura Legend Sedan Consumer Reviews
Legendary
This has been in my family since new. It was my uncle's before it was mine. I now have it past 205,000 and it's still going strong. Some interior components are showing their age, like the leather is going and I have the same minor issues that crop up with Legends of age. Had to replace the CV joints and steering rack boots to pass inspection, a little rust is showing over the rear wheel well. Tuned it up and now runs like new. NO BAD HEAD GASKETS. Not bad for a 16 yo car. 23 mpg mixed driving. Any other '91 can pull that off with 200 hp V6? NOPE. Sometimes I'm tempted to drive our Corolla instead to save gas, but I always grab the Acura keys. Love driving this car. Great car for DIY, too.
Best car ever...
This is my first car and it is probably the best I have test drove. I was going to get a Maxima but the comodity that Nissan delivered is their Maxima's is nothing compared to what the Acura Legend has. It has a smooth ride and there is a nice range of power. Only thing I don't like is no cupholders.
The best car ever!
We got our '91 Legend sedan in 2002. Since then we have had basically 0 problems. I love the design of this car inside and out! Extremely fun to drive! Very powerful car. A timeless beauty. Amazing car!
I wish I had a good one
When I bought the car it was nice and I liked the the overall look of the outside and interior. But about after a month I had to replace the temperature sensor because when you would just sit there in park the temperature would go up and the fan didn't kick on. AC didn't work so I took it to the mechanic and some wires were loose so he fixed that, but about a week later it stopped working so I brought it back in agian and they found out that it was bad computer which is supposively a big problem because they crack, and now it wouldn't start it will either cost $100 and might be another $400 just for the parts so far I have spent $1000 plus without the engine problem I wish I got a good one
Best Car I've ever Owned or even driven
My personal favorite. The Legend of the early nineties was the best car ever produced by Acura. It fully lives up to its name. I've put over 170 thousand miles on mine and I look forward to many more. This great looking sedan drives like a 2-door and shifts like a sports car with an engine to back it. If you want a luxury sports car, but need room for the kids, this is your car.
