One of the great Hondas
I truly love my 91 Legend Coupe. Sure, it can't go 0-60 in six flat, and maybe the mpg is a little low for $3.00 a gallon, but it's worth it. Simply driving it around town is fun, compared to some other beaters I've driven. You get it on the highway and it's like a dream; solid as a rock. Performance, however, is not what you would expect from 200 hp, but I'm pretty sure that's due to the weight and the transmission design (automatic). It is truly the kind of Honda that you hear about, the ones that have 125k+ miles and run better than most late model American cars. My advice: if you can find one of these with life left in it, buy it.
DREAM CAR
One of the cars that was ahead of its time. Even today the car looks great and still looks better than most cars today. Has everything a person could possibly want. Mine even has a center console cupholder.
still satisfied
My car is now greater than 12 years old and i was curious about the newer cars. Well after shopping around nothing out there is tempting me to trade my car in.I guess that is a testiment to the quality of the car
Very satisfied owner
I've had the 1991 Acura Legend for almost 3 years. It was 10 years old when I bought it, with only 32,500 miles. We sold our first Acura Legend after 12 years and 200,000 miles of excellent service, with very few problems. The 1991 is better looking with similar comfort and reliability.
Two thumbs up for Legnd Coupe!!!
What else can I say? The car's title speaks for itself... Legend!!! A twele year old design that still turns heads even among new Acura owners and Dealers. If you cn find one that has been well maintained, go for it! Car still purrslke a kitten and has fooled me a couple of times being on when thinkin it was off (most new cars aren't that quite! Love it! Love it! Love it!

I bought my acura after selling a 91 bmw 535i (still my favorite) My acura came from a smooth talking texan w/a clean carfax report and spray painted leather seats(to cover the cracks)2of4 bose spkrs not working. In a wk needed batt, alternator, rotors, brakes and still leaking ps fluid about qt/wk. DLR said it needed new rack&pinion assb.(stop-leak for ps 3(x) worked) It had 115k so maintanence was expected-but that was just the beginning.Tran shifts rough and clunks when going into gear (needs new tran mount) hood shocks quit, the a/c comp quit on the hottest day of the year driving to LA on I-5.(est. 1- 2k)cont...
honda/acura's best car ever
I bought this car from a private seller back in march '03. It was a little beat up on the inside, but it ran like a jewel. I had to replace some things mainly due to age - at that point it was 11 and now its 14 and runs better than ever. The interior design is better than a lot of younger cars on the road today and the exterior design is timeless. People mistake my '91 for a 2000 or 2002! The Bose system was okay I soon replaced it after I bought it just because I wanted to and I couldn't add any subs or anything to the system without blowing the speakers. Other than that the car is an absolute gem. Highly recommend this for a first car for a teenager.
