Though the R32 is a potent machine, boy
racers need not apply. It has been
engineered to deliver a fine balance
between a high performance driving
experience and a supple daily driver
that you can live with. Engine and
mechanical sounds are fabulous, stops
like crazy, and for added safety it
offers great grip in the wet (phenomenal
even.) And in black, as mine is, it
doesn't attract a lot of attention. It
does sometimes go too fast, but we're
working on that togther.
Engine and six speed transmission
pairing is particularly effective. It
has an abundance of torque that maxes at
around 2850 rpm and just keeps
delivering. Makes for a very flexible
ride -- no need to flog it to make it go
fast, unless of course you want to!
Could use a diet. It is great now, but
with 500 lbs less, it would be greater.
Bi-xenons would be nice, as they have in
Europe. And a slightly larger rear sway
bar wouldn't hurt.
