2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid
I'd much rather drive the Fusion than a Taurus and EVERY one doesnt want an SUV or a Focus. It has PLENTY of room, luxury level equipment, is casket quiet and such an upgrade over my 2012 Fusion SEL. It wasnt a hybrid, but was a great car from 22k to 145 miles in less than four years. I bought this Hybrid at 47k miles from Carmax. Its a former rental, but SURELY was kept well. I do … wish the MPG rating was higher, but I do half highway and half city driving and the car is FUN to drive. I've done 44-46. Long trips will probably do more gas engine, but I've done purely electric at 75 mph. I love the safety and security features- like the remote start PLUS the auto locking if I have the key fob on me. Sync3 is great, but I wish it had the Waze built in, not through Android Car play. I plan on buying the 2019 Titanium CPO. I'm thinking only the dealer should do maintenance though, as some components are sensitive.
Update 3/28/2020!!!
Ive had the car for over a year. I've put almost 50k miles on the car. ZERO regrets. Yes, leaving the outlet plugged up melted the hole a little bit. Uhm...I have yet to change brakes... I guess I will in the next six months. I bought better tires than the run-flats Carmax put on them. I will go back to run-flats. I cant find a real fault. EVERYTHING works as decidedly it needs to. I guess the only thing i dislike is the long drive. Fuel economy in ANY hybrid will go down dramatically. Its pure science. Why? 75 mph for 10-`12 hours straight leaves no room for real charging and use of the battery. I still averaged 35-38 rolling over the hills and mountains of TN and KY. My BMW 530 only did about 30 on the same drive and the 2012 Fusion I had did 33. Im looking to upgrade this year.
