I bought my 2006 4-Runner new in 2006, it is 2013 now and it has 121,000 miles. I could not bare to trade in my 4-Runner before it hit the 100,000 mile mark. It has been a spectacular vehicle in every way! 121K miles and not a single mechanical issue. I have done regular maintenance and used premium gasoline the entire 7 years that I have had it, and not a SINGLE mechanical issue. I have made several trips half-way across the country, including two moves, and it never let me down. Seven years later, and it still cleans up like a brand new car and still drives like one too. I am planning on keeping this vehicle for another 100K miles, then I will surely buy another 4-Runner.

Just bought the car. Nice ride. Avg about 20.1 (set cruise @65.00 sharp). Combined driving gets about 18.2 MPG. Computer updates the MPG every 10 sec. Very smooth. Quiet interior. The power seats are nice. Wish side airbags come standard. No body lean around the curve at 40~45 MPH. Drove thru a heavy rain storm and can feel the traction control sets in right away. A lot of room when rear seats folded down. Storage areas throughout the car make it really neat.

Very happy with the vehicle. Great styling, superior handling for a Sport Ute, and power to impress with the V8, even sounds good! No problems so far, didn't expect any either. Very comfortable, quiet interior, AC and heat distribute nicely, great stock sound system. Could not be happier. Plenty of headroom (I'm 6'4") as well. Combined street/Hwy mileage 19.1

I have own this V8 4 Runner for 14 years and put 230,000 Miles. Usual maintenance : changing oil every 5,000 Miles, Timing Belt & Water Pump & spark plug every 100,000 Miles. Nothing failed. This SUV has been very reliable and smooth to drive. Not too bad on highway 22MPG but I get 17MPG average (70% Highway/30% City).

Would Not Trade My 4Runner For Anything!

My 4Runner is amazing. I love the buttery smooth V8. The interior is perfect. Comfortable and supportive drivers seat (I have a bad back) great sight lines (easy to see all around the vehicle) and gas mileage that is within an acceptable range for me. My local dealership experience is 1st class, from the salesman to the service dept. I am not a Toyota freak. I have owned vehicles from 9 different major companies. This truck ROCKS!
