2003 Nissan 350Z Coupe Touring 2dr Coupe (3.5L 6cyl 6M)

Review

I went to Clay Nissan to look at Frontiers. The people that came with me said I should check out a 350Z. So, the dealer got the keys (for the 2003 Touring model of course) and I went for a drive. I fell in love with it right away. I then took a 2004 Maxima for a spin, but it didn't compare. After another spin in the Z I put my money on the table and drove away with it. Um, I kinda forgot about test driving the Frontiers....

Best Features

The seats are increadibly comfortable. They 6 speed manual transmission is so smooth, it makes driving it fun (coming from someone who spent the past 6 years driving automatics.) And of course, the looks of the car causes a lot of rubbernecking on the part of the passers-by.

Worst Features

A version with a monster V8 engine would be sweet...

2003 Nissan 350Z Coupe Enthusiast 2dr Coupe (3.5L 6cyl 6M)

Review

This car is Great It quick, Awesome looking and handles like a dream Power is good for the every day driver or the track. The only complaint is that the motor is a bit lowed you can hear the valve train win driving All though the exhaust helps to cover it up. Grat car and a lot less than a vette or mustang cobra.

Best Features

The stilling of the car looks like a high-end vehicle. The motor has the power of a v8 and the handling of a racecar.

Worst Features

Lower the engine noise and add a Twin turbo.

Review

Love the Car's Performance, its a blast to drive, and it gets lots of looks... BUT...the door sills are high which makes it difficult to use drive through banking services, it is somewhat difficult to get in and out of the car, and replacement tires for this model are very expensive. FYI...You do not rotate the tires front to rear on the touring model...the tires are directional tires and the front and back tires are different sizes. The dealers do not inform you of this...I just happened to ask while I was closing the deal. However, these factors did not prevent me from purchasing the Z.

Best Features

Performance, exterior looks, exhaust note, climate control, 6 CD changer w/cassettte player, homelink feature.

Worst Features

Add digital compass, front glove box, driver seat memory, door strips to prevent dings, sunroof option, power door & window lights. Lower door sills. Move cupholders forward. Eliminate back hatch glare, improve visibility.

2003 Nissan 350Z Coupe Performance 2dr Coupe (3.5L 6cyl 6M)

Review

Great car, especially for the money. This car is a total blast to drive. Prior to buying the car, I had been worried about the limited rear visibility -- as it turns out, this has not been a problem, because the side mirrors are positioned to make up for the poor visibility through the rear hatch. My only issue with this car is the poor sound from the Clarion factory standard sound system.

Best Features

Performance and styling -- need I say more?

Worst Features

Improve the factory sound system or provide an option for upgrading the sound system without having to buy a 350Z Turning model.

Review

This car is awesome. Gets tighter and faster each time I drive it. I was told the computer kicks up the engine at 3k and 6k. It's true. My decission to by this car was made with one exception, comfort. I am a "big guy" and I finally got to sit in the car when the car was released to the dealers. I fit perfectly. If I had to nit-pick, I would only comment on two things. One of the things is because I'm upset about all the rain we have been getting. Opening the window when it's wet outside is not how I want to wash the interior.Nissan needs to design - con't below

Best Features

Power..through the smoothness of the 6 speed transmission. and The way the car looks...

Worst Features

a runoff for the water to get it away from the inside of the car. Second, Nissan should design, even as an option, an upgraded interior package. Maybe a more crome or wood detailing. Higher quality, more substance, plastic detailing. Currently the plastic has a very "cheap" feel.
