Amazing for a subcompact car!

2020 Honda Fit
I have always owned bigger cars, trucks and SUV's but with gas prices and inflation, I needed something not just reliable but more fuel efficient. I saw a used 2015 Honda Fit EX w/Navi and it only had 36,000 miles. It was clean inside and out looking at it so I did my research. I live in northern USA and I was worried about how the car would do with such a small battery and low ground … clearance, but I am absolutely impressed with the cars ability to handle snow and ice. Great reliability and was worth fixing the car up as the previous owner just let it sit and used as a track car. I had to replace the starter, alternator, battery, internal antenna, brakes and rotors, but the car was still very reliable and has gotten me from points A, B all the way through Z.
Cons:
As a subcompact car, it's noisey and I knew it would be, but it's a very noisy car comparable to a Chevy Sonic in noise.
Another con is the low ground clearance. Definitely feel every small bump and pothole, very bumpy ride, but smoother than I thought it would be. Definitely don't go over higher speed bumps, it will scrape up. Also, steep short drives with a deep dip, don't even think about it unless you wanna scrape or crack the bumper some. It's definitely not avoidable but the lower the car, the less clearance you're gonna have.
Last con: only a 370 CCA 151R battery, though despite that I have been able to start my car in -12° weather while covered in ice. Once the car gets warm, it gets VERY warm and doesn't have a problem for the rest of the day or two. Definitely wanna start your car at least once a day and run it until warm if in subzero temps.
Despite the car's subcompact size, it has plenty of room and storage space. I'm 5ft 6in and a heavy set man, and have no problem in the car at all. I can even lay down in the back with the seats down comfortably and still have room. Great vehicle and very impressive for a subcompact category car. Runs better than my last smaller car which was a Kia soul plus, and runs much better than my Chevy Malibu did. Definitely will be sticking with Honda for life.
