I bought this truck 2 years ago. I knew it needed a slave cylinder just didn't realize it was inside the tranny. So I had a mechanic buddy do it and replace the clutch and rear main seal while he was at it. Has run great since. Only problem is the A/C. It wasn't working when I got it. Found a big hole in the condenser and then it worked for a couple days but then sprung a new leak in another line with the new found pressure. This seems to be a pretty common problem. Engine runs great for its age. I see a ton of these on the road

I bought this truck with 100,000 miles on it. It has over 189,000 on it now. I had to replace the clutch at 174,000. Alternator has be replaced. Front and rear leaf spring hangers replaced because of rust. Left shock absorber bracket replaced. One bolt that holds exhaust pipe to manifold is broken. On going problem with cargo light/center brake light leaking that has stained the headliner. Headliner sagging. Parking brake lever broken off. Transmission grinds going into reverse. Getting harder to shift. Just had to replace radiator. Right rocker panel rusted through at rear of cab. Still has original power steering pump, fuel pump, water pump, and master cylinder.

I love driving this truck. Its ride is more like a car than a truck. It starts with only 2 or 3 turns of starter...every time...I like its looks, willow green with matching interior..Also has a fiberglass tonneau cover which makes it look sharp..Everything works, even all light bulbs...It's a manual shift, which makes it fun to drive....It has never let me down and it's got 192000 miles on the odometer.

Truck ran great for the first three years, then just about after the warranty ran out the check engine light came on. In the shop multiple times, damn thing just runs rough. Mileage sucks, too. Only about 15 mpg...and that's highway fellas!
