This is the best car I've owned! No one single mechanical problem after 5+ plus years of ownership. I had the opportunity to run this monster on the German autobahn at speeds in excess of 140 mph with the top down. What an experience. Buy one, you will not be disappointed. Great job on this one Ford!

I was concerned and apprehensive when I went from a Mercedes C230 Sport to the Mustang GT Convertible. On day two I knew I made the right decision. This car rocks! The car generates amazing torque and speed. The exhaust and engine are perfectly matched; it makes a deep throaty growl when I get on the accelerator. The handling is superb. The first time I dropped the transmission into second gear going around a corner and goosed it, I'm sure I looked like the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland; I had such a grin. This car is without a doubt more powerful, responsive and refined than the 5.0 GT I bought new in 1990. I am so happy with this car I want to sleep in it. Thank you Ford!

Let me start out by saying I m Not a convertible guy. I’ve never really cared for the looks of them I’ve always heard that they are Windy and leaky. But I saw this ad for a 2005 Mustang GT black convertible. The kid said he needed moneyTo get a bigger house for his wife and New baby. Well I’m a sucker for somebody that needs some help so I thought what the heck I’d check it out. So I met with a kid not only was the car appealing but the price was appealing he wanted 3000 now the car wasn’t perfect it was a convertible and had a rip in The top but I’m pretty handy and I figured I could fix a little dings and the rip and so I beat him up a lil on the price And gave him 2800 bucks cash for the car. Now I’ve only had the car for a short period of time but let me tell you it’s tight ride is has 12400miles on it and it’s it’s the greatest $2800 car I Ever bought. Let me Telya I love cars I’ve had quite a few it’s a very nice car this is the third Mustang that I’ve driven the first to my moms and that was long time ago A 76 and 81 this one is a lot better so I’m looking forward to a lot of fun rides good job ford did good on this one!

I've had my GT vert for a month and have put 2,000 miles on it. Love the appearance and all the compliments from strangers who just walk up and want to talk about the car. Wished the 2005 had some of the features that were in the prototypes but not included, like 18" wheels and the decorative intake cover. There were minor convenience things that were not included in 2005, like interior trunk release that I was disappointed in. The car is fast, but like many Mustang owners I want it to go faster. Computer thinks too much and the throttle by wire causes a delay when accelerator is floored for passing and merging. Would highly recommend but there are few tweaks that need to be done.
