Still Going Strong F150 2014

Update: 2014 F150 XL Regular Cab V-8 with 5.0 engine, 8 foot bed with rear drive (basic work truck). I travel every day in this vehicle. It provides me with dependability as well as comfort. I am getting an average of 13-16 miles per gallon in the city and 19- 21 on the highway. It currently has over 100,000 miles on it. It has kept me safe and it has been a work horse so far. I chose this year and model over the current F150 as this has a steel bed. It rides very quiet inside of the cab. It gives me all the features that makes my ride enjoyable. It has good acceleration and handles good at higher speeds. It has great payload ability to transport items. It is still going strong 9 years later. I have done all the routine maintenance (oil changes, engine maintenance, tune-ups, brakes, tires, bulbs, and rear end differential fluid changed). The only problems have been 1) brake rotors were warped and had to be replace. 2) Lose of antifreeze in reserve tank from O ring leaking when cold on the radiator T upper hose. 3)The water pump was wobbling causing hoses to leak and had to be replaced This seems to be a common issue on these type of hoses in this F150 generation. 4) Gas tank cover broke. Again a common problem with this generation F150. All these issues have been corrected. Overall I would recommend this model to anyone who wants reliability, dependability, stability and comfort in one vehicle.
