Great Looking Truck, Poor Quality

Had to replace front struts at less than 50K miles but mostly used as a road vehicle. Dome light leaked staining headliner 1st winter after purchase. Speakers in doors went out after about 10K miles. All of the above were repaired at no cost by dealer (under warranty). However, computer in 6 speed automatic transmission failed after less than 70K miles, 5K miles after warranty. Transmission cost $4K to repair. Speakers in doors have since failed again. Ford's Sync 1.0 infotainment system is a joke. An after market v2.0 Sync system is available for about $2K. Less than 80K miles and lots of noises come from joints in cab. A friend bought a full size Toyota at same time I bought my Ford much higher quality interior with much fewer interior noises.

Love This FX4!

Only have about 250 miles on this so far, but love it. I got this to replace my 2005 Taco. The interior layout is almost exactly like my old truck, but with more horsepower, more room, more bells/whistles and more creature comforts. I want to get the engine broken in before I report any actual mileage.

Had a Transit Connect for a while this year, and decided to trade it for the 2010 FX4 F150. Was a great move I think. The FX4 thus far impresses me as a very smooth ride. Barely touch the gas and this truck moves. Once in a while you get a little wheel hop in the back, but it's not felt up front by the driver. I like the styling and lines of the new F150. The box is the right size. Interior is plenty spacious for the single guy, although I do like the back floor space way better in the Super Crew. Love using all the features like Sunroof, power slider window, leather seats(seem durable although probably not the richest hides), + more. I think the 10 FX4 holds its own against any full size truck.

I purchased this pickup 3 years ago with 120k miles on it....I absolutely love it still! Not a friend to the pocketbook now that gas is nearing 5.00/gal but I'm still daily driving it. The roomy back seat is THE BEST since I have a large family and a special needs son who is able to stretch out without a problem. Easy to keep clean and nice to look at still. I give 4☆s instead of 5 because my backup camera stopped working about a year ago and the radio has a grounding issue they can't find which makes listening to the radio a pain. Over all I am very happy with my truck!!

I bought my 2010 F150 (XLT 5.4 V8) used in 2017, with 90k miles. As of today, I'm sitting at 210k miles. I've driven it cross country twice, gone off roading on rocky terrain in Utah, driven up the Rockies in the snow, and this truck hasn't let me down once - caveat that it's lifted 6" and sitting on 35" A/T tires. It hauls a loaded 7500 lbs horse trailer like a feather. I'm pretty sure this truck would drive to hell and back if I needed it to. No more than regular wear/ tear maintenance so far. The 4WD had to be replaced at 175k miles and the AC compressor was replaced today.
