2014 Ford Edge SEL 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
First of all it's a great car and gets lots of compliments. However, after owning a few SUV's in the past, I am disappointed that the rear tailgate window does not open. It is a fixed window which makes transporting certain items impossible. The Entertainment center is a bit confusing as I have read in almost all the reviews. So, more one has to dedicate time to learning how to use it … as well as the climate control. But I'm sure I will love this Ford.
Now that I've driven the Edge for several months , the one thing that bothers me is that the field of vision is not what I've been use to in the past.
It's difficult to pull into a parking space and have the vehicle positioned right. This may be because the area where the front windshield pillars meet the
hood leaves a great blind spot. Even for a person 6 feet tall, it's hard to see each front corner of the car.
Not sure I will buy another Ford

2014 Ford Edge SEL 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
I really want to like my Ford Edge, but it is turning into a lemon. Loved the looks and ride, which is what sold me. 1 month into ownership and one of rear fold downs quit working. Had to take it in to get fixed. Then it started making a large anoying rattle. Took three trips in to get it corrected with a new rear seat. Then my low tire sensor has gone bad. They tell me to just … keep filling the tire with air. No help. Two years into ownership, I had a battery die on me at the grocery store on a Sunday. No dealership open. Now the back up camera has quit working. I do not have all the time in the world to sit at the dealer while it gets fixed and it is very inconvenient to be down a vehicle. The Sync system is horrible. Voice commands cause nothing but frustration. Never does what you say.
DRIFTING PROBLEM

2014 Ford Edge SEL 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
I drive a 2014 Edge and will advise others not to buy one. It starts and it runs but has a inherint design flaw with it's suspension. On a right sloping lane it will drift to the right if you take your hands off the sterring wheel and on a left sloping lane it will drift left . A 4 wheel alignment will not stop the drift. Neither will rotating the tires, nor will buying new tires help. … Ford is hiding this problem. If you buy an Edge and complain to a Ford dealership about a drifting problem they will patronize you and fill your head with gobblygook untill you finally give up and go away. The powerful billion dollar company abuses the working class consumer
