2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid SEL 4dr Wagon (2.0L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
fast, quick, quiet, smooth ... got it up to 110 on open road , smooth as silk. fun to drive, drove a GMC Yukon for years and prefer the C-max any day. Good vision, easy to pass. In town, can't beat it. Avg 44-50 mpg in town. 36-39 highway depending on how much fun I want to have.
Plenty of headroom, leg-room. My teenager is about to drive and has been eyeballing the C-Max,
don't think … I want to let it go. so far, best car i've ever owned.
It's not a Lexus, but...

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid SEL 4dr Wagon (2.0L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
The lease on my Lexus RX 350 was up, and I wanted to lower my lease payment and increase my miles per gallon.
I looked at all of the hybrid alternatives out there, and chose the C-Max.
Have had it for 2 weeks now, and I'm happy with my decision.
I'm currently averaging 40 mpg with a combination of city and highway driving.
It's fun to drive, handles well, corners better than the Lexus, … and has just about all the bells and whistles one could want.
My tall friends appreciate the headroom and legroom in the back seat.
The interior is not as plush as the Lexus, but I'm saving so much money that I don't care.
Voice command is great, very easy to use.
One week in and very pleased

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid SEL 4dr Wagon (2.0L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Took delivery of a 2013 SEL 303A a week ago.
Initial thoughts:
Was driving a mid-sized SUV, but mostly use the vehicle for commuting.
I wanted the following:
Comfort, fun to drive, better mileage, flexibility to handle a large parcel/item via a hatch, reasonably quiet driving experience, all the toys like Nav, backup camera, leather, etc.
The C-Max delivers all these items.
There is … more head and leg room than in the SUV ( I am 6'6" and 240lb, don't fit well in many vehicles).
So far only one build issue, which the dealer addressed.
Last, the mileage: EPA tests were followed to the letter, but it is not real world.
I am getting 37.0 mpg on the first tank.

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid SEL 4dr Wagon (2.0L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Researched long and hard, test drove Prius V, Mazda CX-5, and C-Max to replace '03 Highlander (great car by the way).Liked the room behind the second row in the V and CX-5 and the driveability of the CX-5. Liked the mileage (knew it didn't get 47/47/47), acceleration, handling, quietness, and accommodations in the C-Max. I have put
about 1500 miles on the car so far and am getting about … 43 mpg overall. Having fun playing the hybrid game! Much of my driving is in town or two lane rural highway. The mileage does suffer if you go over 65 mph. Diesel is probably the way to go if you want great interstate mileage.
