There were 2016 SRT6 coupes and 968 roadsters produced in 2005. There were about 13 SRT6's produced in 2006 - unk exactly how many of those were roadsters or coupes.

If you are interested in an SRT-6, they were only made in 2005. As that is the model I have, I am not that familiar with the differences over the years in the base coupe (yes, there are 2006 models). One of the perks about buying an older car is that the taxes and insurance are usually lower. The depreciation is really not a factor in buying a used Crossfire as ... Read More

I just purchased a 2006 crossfire that had the disks but no manual. Is there anywhere I can get a manual? Chrysler has no clue about this, so I am stuck.

Hi Cmdr17, I'm also looking for a 2006 SRT6 Roadster, new or used. I'm in San Jose, CA and any suggestions would be appreciated. It's a big country with lots of Chrysler dealers and I don't have the inside track. Thanks -drydock

Just bought a 2006 Crossfire Limited Roadster, only 51 test driven miles on it when I first sat down in its beautiful two-tone leather seats. Love the color....red pearl, literally haven't stopped at a single place while driving it and NOT received a comment on what a hot car it is. I love her!! Best of all, got a great deal (I think) $27,600. They had one other, it was white ... Read More

I purchased a new 2006 Crossfire Limited Coupe at the end of May from a dealer in Western PA. At the time they had 60+ Crossfires on the lot, all colors & styles. They only had 1 graphite metallic clear coat exterior w/dark slate gray/medium slate gray interior. Looked so sharp with the satin silver trim I had to buy (been looking at Crossfires for months). Stopped last week to thank ... Read More

Just picked up a 2005 SRT6 Roadster this morning - what a car! Only 8700 KM (it's a Canadian vehicle), and in perfect shape. This one was a Chrysler company car, built in June 2005 and put into service in May 2006, so still almost 2 years of warranty left. I have seen various recaps of models and production totals -does anyone have the definitive numbers or can suggest a source? ... Read More

  • Crossfire Navigation CD

My 2005 Crossfire was delivered last March 2006. When delivered the East navigation CD was missing. The dealership (Johnson Chrysler, Fort Pierce, FL) delayed on dealing with the problem and was soon taken over by another dealer. The new dealer says its an issue with the old dealer (which no longer exists), Chrysler corporate will not get involved (they say its between me and the dealer I bought from) so I ... Read More

IF there is a 2006 built, it will be built in very limited quantities. Chrysler is already in negotiations with Karmann for idled plant capacity. That said; think about this for a minute. With a 17K unit max production per year, you’re talking maybe 51K units total produced so far for the US. Chrysler builds 16K 300's alone a month for example. It is a very limited production run overall. Plus, ... Read More

Hey there, aren't these cars (Chrysler Crossfire) only available with candy-ass automatic transmissions? Where do we get off calling them "sports" cars? When did we as Americans get so lame that Nissan 350Z's, Corvettes, and Lexus SC430's even come with automatics? Give me a clutch and at least five speeds, and THAT makes a sports car!

At a website entitled Crossfirecommunity.net someone posted a message (http://www.crossfirecommunity.net/default.aspx?tabid=142&g=posts&t=476) that discussed it. I also know that you cannot build and order your own SRT-6 on the Chrysler website. Maybe it is only the SRT-6? On the other hand I have seen a press release by Chrysler posted on another website that talks about the Crossfire and small modifications to the windshield trim for the 2006 model. I just signed papers ... Read More

The concept car you are talking about ids the Chrysler Fire Power. The car is not to replace the Crossfire, but to fill a space between the Crossfire SRT and the Dodge Viper. Right now the Fire Power is a concept, but will be produced in some fashion, most likely during the 2006 - 2007 production year and be priced around $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 range. I will hold on to my ... Read More
