Used 2002 Volvo S60 Consumer Reviews
dont waste your money $$$ on it!
even for an entry level luxury sedan, one has high hopes. this car fell short even with the $$$. there are fit and trim problems. a re-ocurring issue with the front suspension, poor service from Volvo dealers who basically treat you no better than going to a Ford outfit! perhaps Ford made too many changes when they bought them???
Could be better
I bought Volvo primarily for the safety features. However, I've had several disappointing occurrences with performance. The transmission slips from time to time. The door locks are constantly out of sync. I made 4 trips to the dealer for warning lights about the engine without resolution until a recall solved the problem. I expected a more luxurious interior/panel for the price. The buttons, knobs on the panel look cheap - my compromise for safety. I'm in the market for a new car and won't be a repeat Volvo customer.

so happy!!
We drove pretty much every imaginable car, truck and SUV out there before we settled on the Volvo. I've had it just about a year and am SO happy with my choice. We drove many other luxury cars, Lexus, BMW, Infinity and weren't sure which to go with. I have friends and family who went with the other choices and have had so many problems. So glad I stuck with Volvo.
