Used 2002 Volkswagen Passat Consumer Reviews
What a deal!!!
The Passat wagon blew us away on the test drive. We couldn't believe that all of this car was avaialable for the price. We have logged over 5000 miles on it already and it has been great. The only annoying thing is a rattle from the dash. Overall, we are very pleased, the turbo engine is quite peppy, and the cargo area is a great size..
VW makes history in bath
This car is a well handleing, great acceleration, easy and fun to drive car. Its low to the ground so it hughs like no outher, the dash makes it feel like your in a world of your own.

I love this wagen!
Performance on the 1.8T is excellent, the five speed automatic helps with any turbo lag. Once the turbo kicks in good bye pocket-rocket, the old man's moving on down the road. Lots of room, handles well, safety features, and comfort.
Disappointing End
This is such a beautiful car, it makes me sad to sell it. I love the luxury, the comfort, the smooth drive. I bought it in 4/06 at 94k mileage. It's now at 124k and i've made many many expensive repairs. I just can't afford to take it to the mechanic every other month anymore. And my mechanic, quite frankly, is fed up with working on it. It's a manual and so fun to drive, especially when the Turbo kicks in. i get roughly 28- 32 mpg.
My new 2002 passat
Great car for the price and I would have regretted not getting the upgraded sound system - glad I got it. Car handles well in the corners and great in the braking dept. Good comfort for road trips and a smooth rider. 1.8 T, Auto, Sandstone Grey, Monsoon system, Luxury package (a must have)
