Used 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid Sedan Consumer Reviews
What are you guys doing to your poor cars?
Bought a 2014 SEL premium from a dealer in 2015 for $22k and it had absolutely zero issues and served me well for 8 years and 160k miles, going up and down the east coast of the US many times. It's gone camping, driving in gravel, on snow, on highways at high speeds, floored in boost mode a decent amount; it has not been babied by any means. Within the last year or so after 160k it will occasionally get an electric/hybrid system gremlin that dealers have no clue what to do about, but it solves itself upon power cycling. Still going fairly strong and still used daily at 9+ years and 175k+ mi. I don't know how you guys are chewing through engines and transmissions... are you trying to do donuts in a fwd hybrid?
A Snappy little Hybrid... not an oxymoron.
I did not know what I would get to replace my daughter's TDI after the buy back, she loves the growl of her little diesel. This hybrid comes close or maybe even does the diesel one better. We are looking forward to putting this car through its paces.
