Best Car I’ve ever owned…
The 2019 Atlas is a champ. It’s so roomy and comfortable - the perfect road trip car. It’s got all the little convenience features you need and nothing that you don’t. The all wheel drive is fantastic! It’s quiet, comfortable, easy to drive and maneuver. People have said it doesn’t have enough power but I don’t agree. It’s not a dragster but it gets up and goes just fine! Love, love , love mine.

Perfect Minivan Replacement
Loved our Honda Odyssey but needed AWD. Picked up a used 2019 VW Atlas SE with 20K miles in 2020. 45k miles on it now to include a few long trips and all weather conditions - no complaints with the vehicle. Spacious, comfortable (I am 5'10") and still has a uniqueness we enjoy compared to all the round japanese-type SUVs. Interior feels spartan but luxurious. Picked this over Highlander due to more space, better entertainment system/interface with phones, style, cost, and felt more maneuverable. Only major complaint (and loss of 1 star) is the user manual - probably the worst I have ever seen. Wanted to change the oil - look up oil and it says see engine oil. Go to engine oil section and it says see the separate warranty manual for frequency. Grr. Wanted to change the cabin filter - there is no index entry for filter or cabin. Found it under Dust Filter - go to that section and it describes the Dust Filter functionality and that you should change it though not how to replace it or even show where it is, and of course see the separate warranty manual for frequency. There seem to be a lot of features in this car but we will probably never know exist because of the manual being such a POS. Note - I just got a new Mazda and I wish VW would do the same to see what good instructions are meant to be. Hopefully the manual improves with more recent model years. Only nit I have so far is the front windshield wipers. They are set deep in a pocket between the hood and the windshield so a) you cannot raise the blades in case of ice/snow, b) it is a pain scooping out snow, and c) apparently replacing the blades is a pain (blade required emergency replacement and wife said auto parts employees struggled to replace them).

Perfect family car
I researched and drove nearly every car in the three-row suv category and ended up purchasing the Atlas. After two weeks I can report that we LOVE THIS CAR. It has such a quiet and smooth ride, has SO MUCH ROOM, and is versatile in its configuration—fitting our two kids and two dogs with ease.
