    Carvana almost never shows the charging port in the pictures. They don't show if the cars have the optional Fast Charging port. This makes it hard to buy an electric car from them. Their prices are also about $1K higher than most local dealers. Maybe it because of their free delivery to your home. You really need to shop around for the best deal like all used cars.

    I had a relatively straightforward, easy time when I signed my lease for a new Mazda several months ago and have no complaints about that experience. 6 months after getting the new car, I received a letter in the mail summarizing that I was several months behind on paying the lease, had accrued multiple late fees, and had been reported to a credit agency. As I had bank statements showing that I had paid my lease dutifully, I followed up the account and found that I had been signed up for 2 leases and the second one had never been reported to me. When I called the dealership, I was referred to the finance manager for their location, who cut me off while I was explaining the situation, and outright told me “that was impossible”. I was told that there was no way they could make that mistake, I should talk to Chase (who does their financing), that he’d look into it and call me back, and then hung up on me. I called Chase, and after 2 hours and 5 different people, I managed to arrive on someone who was able to cancel out the account and refund the late fees (6 weeks later I’m still trying to get the credit rating issue completely fixed). This gentleman at Chase told me that when the dealership sent in my lease, they must’ve accidentally sent in two different sets of paperwork as if I was buying two separate cars. After no one had called me back from the Chapman dealership 2 weeks later, I called and asked to speak to the manager. I was told my issue wasn’t appropriate for the dealership manager and I was once again directed to a finance guy. This time it was a different individual from the first call. He was less rude, but once again told me there was no way they could have signed me up for 2 leases. He told me he would investigate and get back to me. I specifically asked him to write down my cell phone number as the last finance manager had never called me back. It has now been 4 weeks since this call and I have not heard from the dealership. At worst, someone at the dealership signed me up for 2 leases purposely to increase their sales numbers. At best, someone in the dealership to Chase circuit made an honest mistake, but afterwards the dealership has been downright rude, offered absolutely ZERO apology whatsoever, and in no way helped me figure out how to remedy the situation. I understand that people make mistakes and I hope that’s all this was, but it’s a mistake that has set me back and caused me considerable difficulty. The way Chapman Mazda has dealt with the mistake, completely ignored me, and in no way offered to help me figure out how to fix the issue is the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

    changed and I've seen a lot of new, unfamiliar faces in the shop.  While I think they were competent and friendly enough, they keep trying to push a lot of unnecessary extra services on me, especially full fluid replacements for just about everything - transmission, brake, coolant, etc.  This bugged me, as this was not according to the manufacturer schedule and I had not experienced any problems with the systems involved.  Moreover, I had actually already done a full fluid exchange for most systems just prior to 2017, when I first brought my car to Cardinale and I had told them of my car servicing history, even providing official Mazda dealership service logs.  My gut feeling says that you shouldn't need a full fluid exchange only a year after you've done it.  Do I blame the service writers?  Not really - my father-in-law who used to wrench at a Dodge dealership mentioned that some dealerships tend to push their service writers to get their customers to pay for more high-margin work, or extra work that may not always be absolutely necessary.  That's just the game they play to make more money.  The final straw however was how the service writers kept on screwing with my car's service schedule, insisting I needed the more intensive maintenance than Mazda recommended. I brought my Mazda to a Mazda dealership since I thought they would be the experts in servicing it - in this, I was mistaken.  I've since switched about 6 months ago to a different dealership that is frank and honest with me about the maintenance my car needs, and their service has been flawless to date. Cardinale, I'd love to come back to you, but I can't trust you any more.

I brought my Mazda to a Mazda dealership since I thought they would be the experts in servicing it - in this, I was mistaken.  I've since switched about 6 months ago to a different dealership that is frank and honest with me about the maintenance my car needs, and their service has been flawless to date. Cardinale, I'd love to come back to you, but I can't trust you any more.

Just last week, we picked the Soul Crystal Red CX9 GT with black interior. I didn't have guts to go with a red. I have to thank my wife, as she persuaded me to go with the red. Now, I realize it is a gorgeous color and gives a great modern look. It emits different shades of red, depending upon the lighting condition. The chrome piece in the front and the one in the back are a masterpiece. There are chrome accents in the sides and this is one of the best looking vehicles on the road. Even the closing of the door gives a premium feeling. The black interior is phenomenal. No plastic, plush interior with piano black and aluminum like materials in the console. Another suv, that I test drove had hard plastics all around. Then you start the car and amazed by the driver-centric features like the heads-up display, control knob, radar cruise control, etc. Heads-up display alone is enough to justify a CX 9 over other mainstream three row suvs. Speed, blind sport monitoring info, speed limits, lane info, navigation info all come in the heads up display. Naturally I only drive looking at the HUD and my neck doesn't hurt, as I don't have to look down or to the sides that often. The Bose center-point surround system is good. I only stream from my phone. It sounds great with a good base. Tried aha radio and the quality is good too. Navigation system is OK but not that user friendly. Hope Mazda will bring android auto soon, so that I can just use the google maps instead. And now the driving. It accelerates very fast from traffic lights. Usually the car in the next lane will far behind, when you have reached the posted speed. Funtastic. If you are thinking of buying a 3 row, do not wait. Just go and buy one. Bet, you will be delighted like me.
