Finally got my dream car!

2020 Mazda 6
Mazda6 Signature in soul crystal red metallic with parchment nappa leather interior. I've wanted this exact car since the mid cycle refresh in 2018. The pros: 1. beautiful car, the most beautiful color for a car that I've ever seen complements the sculpted work of art that is the exterior of the car. Looking at it is an emotional experience. 2. The interior is both attractive and … practical. Every control reeks of high quality, with firm detents and clicks, not a wobbly know or switch to be found. Button and control locations are second nature, logically arranged, I could find them blindfolded after a while. 3. The most comfortable car seats I've ever sat in. I flew from San Diego to Santa Barbara to pick up the car, then drove ir almost 4 hours to get home. The seats hug you firmly enough not to slide around, but the leather was supple and padding gentle enough to keep me comfy the whole way...no fatigue at the end of the drive. 4. Like my old 2006 Mazda3, and my 1986 Mazda 323 before it, the machine and I are one on the road. I feel the car doing exactly what I tell it to do. And that is why I've stuck with Mazda. I love how it drives.
Cons: 1. Infotainment system. I don't hate it like a lot of people do, I like the idea of know driven control, but the design of menus isn't always the best. I'm getting used to it, but wish it were better. 2. Camera resolution is bad. Nothing else need be said about it. 3. After reading all the stories, I'm deathly afraid of paint chipping off, it's a constant thought while driving. I carefully choose my route to work to avoid construction zones and broken roads that are frequented by semis and big trucks.
Still, getting up and leaving the house to go to work, seeing the car brings a smile and a skipped heartbeat every day. I'd buy it again in a second over any other car out there in the price range.
