RECALL HELL
Selling the truck after about 25,000 miles, recalls keep coming, the latest one is for metal chips in the engine, our dealer says Toyota is still figuring it out, so the issue remains on hold. Turbos stopped working a few months ago, but now they need to be replaced, and that takes about 2 weeks, had a gas line recall and many others, when will it end? Head rests force you head down so far, it gives you neck pain. Toyota did not include a Navigation system, so any issue with your phone and you better have a paper map in your car! I think they rushed this to the market, we are selling it once the turbos get fixed. Four will drive system only works when the wheels can slip, so in most cases you have a rear-wheel-drive truck. Not missing thevV8
My old Tundra SR5 hit 245000 trouble free miles, the only thing replaced was the starter at 187k. I was was worried about leaving my old V8 but this new V6 Tundra is everything the truck was and more.

Owned a 22 for 2 mth then switched to a 21
The horse power is adequate but the turbo component/waste gate is a known reliability issue. Also the hood is 10+ inches longer than 21 for no benefits, which makes it very difficult to drive around. MPG is almost the same as 21. This model is a compromised green product and Toyota eventually has to switch back to the 8 cyl design to save this brand. Suspension/drive comfortability is good, but it doesn't matter when the engine reliability is in question.
