Good looking truck, drives amazing, power and comfort are really good. My dream truck and I plan on keeping it a long time. Got it with the air shocks from Toyota, JBL sound system, 14in display. LX premium package, LZ Limited power package, NF load leveling rear high control air Suspension. I could go on and on, love this truck.

Amazing Changes

First off, I'm learning that the people who are giving these trucks negative reviews are just ol school pissed off Tundra owners who are mad because the V8 is gone, so they take small problems and go on social media. Like the ""wastegate" issue. That was not even a big problem and the issue was quickly addressed by Toyota (Simply a batch of bad parts *note* you haven't heard of it since). It was just a pissed off guy that went to social media and it went viral. BTW, Toyota fixed his truck. This is my 1st Toyota period and I came from Ford and Nissan trucks. I thought the Nissan Titan was the best truck ever, until I bought this Tundra. Ok I will admit there are some things that they should have done differently, but none of them were deal breakers. Like tow hooks, bed step (included). This is a awesome truck and it will continue to sell. I love mine and I not concerned about the reliability of it. Toyota doesn't build junk, they build high quality vehicles. People need to understand that times are changing. The old stuff is gone and the new is beginning. If I'm gonna trust any manufacturer with new tech, it would definitely be Toyota. If you like the truck, buy it! It's a great truck! I plan on having mine for years to come. ...If you trusted Toyota in the past, I'm sure you can trust them now. STOP LISTENING TO THE NEGATIVE STUFF ON SOCIAL MEDIA! YOUR GONNA MISS OUT ON A GREAT TRUCK!

Major Engine failure at 35 miles

First of all, I really loved driving this truck. It was really amazing to drive on the highway. A lot of power. Very roomy interior. I also like to driving around with the rear window completely down. It’s a unique feature for a truck. The main issues that I had were these: major engine malfunction at about 35 miles on the odometer. Very weak air conditioner. Cheap seat started cracking immediately on the driver side. Infotainment system died within the first 500 miles although this could’ve been damaged when they removed the engine to repair the major engine issue. This truck, even with the short bed is slightly longer than other trucks that are in the same overall size range. This means that it was much more difficult to navigate around town and to fit in a garage. Just the slight difference is a big deal. Overall had tons of issues and the truck spent more time in the garage. Then I actually owned it and had use of it. Very disappointing, and unreliable. Would still consider a future model though. I lemoned this truck.

So far it’s been great, I love the safety features but will keep an eye on the PAC system. Read where a guy had a issues with his dogs in the back. The truck rides awesome and inside interior is the nicest Tundra I’ve had and I’ve had 3 now. Never had an issue with a Toyota.
