2012 rock warrior awesome truck, 95000 k miles 1 oil leak fixed under warranty. am 60yrs old & best truck ever owned, put Gibson dual exhaust, bull guard, 5 inch chrome tubes, K&N filter & use Lucas oil products. looks, runs & sounds badass. catch flak from these Mi. morons about foreign cars, they don't have a clue. I don't go out & look for races buy if they push I like to show off what a tundra can do & make them feel bad about their big 3 junk. Haven't been beaten yet. do yourself, your family, & your pocket book a favor, buy a dependable, long lasting, AMERICAN MADE TOYOTA TOYOTA ROCKS

Update - after one year :) No new complaints after driving it for year - only those stated below. Still getting compliments on the paint color & everytime I drive friends somewhere they talk about how roomy and nice the interior is. The stereo is also awesome. I have owned many, many vehicles, my dad had a used car dealership when I was a teen and later in life, I did the same, so I got to drive such a variety of cars and trucks. This is my first Toyota truck and I am still absolutely loving my truck. Prior to this I had driven a Range Rover for 4 years and loved it. The comfort in this truck is right up there with the Rover. Once you get used to the larger turning radius, its not an issue. This truck is fabulous! Had my new 1794 model Tundra truck for about 2 weeks now, so far loving it. Powerful, comfortable and beautiful. I get so many compliments on this truck & am loving driving it. The back seat leg room is the best I have ever seen. My only complaint is the interior storage is very limited. There is a good-sized glove box but about 1/4 filled with owners manual (which I plan to take out and keep on file at home for more space) and one large console storage compartment. Pretty much nothing else. Not even any place to store the parts to the rail system that came with the truck. One other comment - I don't understand why, when even much less expensive vehicle come with a smart key, Toyota didn't see fit to even make this an option. Otherwise, everything on this truck is top-of-the-line. Update: Have now owned this truck for 7 months and still love it. I get a lot of complements on the beautiful golden metallic brown color and the rust-leather interior. My only ONLY complaint is that the turning radius is not very good. I still feel that the rest of the positives outweigh this. The mileage isn't great bugt I expected that buying a big truck. It is smooth and so easy to drive, comfortable on long distance trips. I love that the back window opens so I can crack my front windows on the highway without getting blown around. It is so quiet too and the stereo is amazing.

21,000 miles and can't say enough about this 2016 1794 CREWMAX 4 x 4, O TO 60 in under 6 seconds and I'm averaging easily 15.5 to 16 miles to the gallon, to all the haters buy you one and quit talking about the fuel economy when you have a 5.7 400 HP engine nobody cares, I have two close friends one driving 2016 GMC Denali the other 2016 Dodge Rebel both with V-8's and the mileage isn't any better than my Tundra, this is the best $50,000.00 I ever spent. 43,000 miles and again a really solid truck, my 1794 has all the bells/whistles and purchased for just under $51,000.00 the Ford with similar specification's is $60,000.00 plus and not a $9000.00 better truck, just came back from a road trip last week of over 1000 miles running 75-77 MPH and averaged 16 mile's per gallon.

Mechanically and technologically superior in every way to domestic competitors. Great value for a work/play truck, but I have some minor gripes. First, NO INTERMITTENT WIPERS! My 1985 F-150 had this. Second is the lack of storage cubby holes in the dash for change keys or beverages. The only way you can store a cup of coffee or water bottle is with the middle seat folded down. Luckily, I solved this problem for $4.99 by buying a console organizer from Auto Zone. This way, I can fit 3 people in the front seat and still store water bottles or coffee. Other than these minor issues, I LOVE THE TUNDRA AND WILL NEVER BUY A DOMESTIC VEHICLE AGAIN!

If you want comfort, protection (in case of accidents) then you got to pay. I know it is high on the gas end, but you can't get a truck that gives you comfort, protect you and your family members, and can haul stuffs and expect 30MPG. If that is what you are looking for then buy a Prius!
