Used 2022 Toyota Sienna XLE 8-Passenger 4dr Minivan (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT) Consumer Reviews
Serious Breaking Issues
I purchased a new 2022 Sienna XLE Hybrid in Sept 2022 after an accident totaled my 2014 Sienna. At that time the wait for a new Sienna was 8 months due to supply issues. Dealers had marked up new vehicles 10K - they loved price gouged their customers. There was not even a Sienna around to test drive because they were all pre-sold. Soon after starting to drive the car I noticed a braking issue. Sometimes the breaks will "give" when you are braking to stop. It is very unsettling when this happens. After some research I see that it is a common complaint from Sienna Hybrid customers and a serious safety issue. This vehicle has less space and does not handle as good as my 2014 - which I loved. Today (my vehicle is 11 months old and has 22k miles on it) I will be taking my van into the Toyota shop for the 4th time this year due to a wiring issue. Next week I will loose $10,000 by trading this vehicle in and will never buy another Toyota again.

Several problems in the Sienna 2022
When the temperature rises and you try to open the windows in the rear seats, it makes an annoying sound like a screeching or whistling sound. I went several times to the Toyota service department and they couldn't solve the problem, and there are also traces of friction on the driver's side window and I don't know the reason and they also didn't fix it and there are noise or sound problems The air when I reach the speed is more than 60 miles and also the screen freezes or disconnects when you try to connect it to the iPhone and the engine sound is annoying, you feel when you increase the speed that the sound is coming from below from under your feet

sliding doors a disaster
Leave the door open and forget it and when you come back none of the 5 buttons will work. You have to strong arm it closed. Also the second row seats can't be removed as they can in the chrysler or the Odyssey. Never again. miss my Odyssey. so does my Rottweiler.

Used to own Real Estate Office; Used them to drive families around looking at houses. Great vehicles! Retired, bought a Prius, then Honda Fit to tow behind motorhome. Bought current 2022 for comfort and room. This is the best one yet!! Lots of comfort and 38 miles per gallon! Plus the new safety suite is awesome!! Best car yet!

Rough market for both Buyer and sellers!
Family and I feel real safe and secure with our purchase. Toyota has come a long way with safety features. Excellent Job by the sales rep Larry from Toyota of York in putting his heart and passion in showing us the vehicles features.
