This is our 3rd Toyota, but our 1st SUV. We finally outgrew our Camry and Prius to own the Platinum Sequoia. Wow, what a jump up in room and class! Our 7 seater has it all. I thought parking and maneuvering would be a problem, but not so with the sensors all around the vehicle. They keep the vehicle right on track to avoid any type of false move. The versatility of our Platinum is incredible. The 3rd row is spacious with the option to recline for more room. Get the 2nd row heated seats on the Platinum for cold weather...you won't be sorry. IPOD and Blackberry information fully transferable to your main screen. Cool. We got a remote starter added after market through the dealer.
Daddy's 'Monster Truck'

My 3 year old son calls our new Sequoia Daddy's 'Monster Truck'. We traded in a Ford Explorer to get more space for our third child, due in March. So far the truck is great. The ride is very smooth and there is plenty of room in the second row - it has 3 LATCH hook-ups and lots of leg room. Gas mileage is actually better than my old Explorer!

This car is the best thing I have ever owned and driven! As a mom if 2 boys that play basketball and travel baseball, this is the first vehicle to carry all of their equipment and still have room to spare! The luxury of a Platinum level will spoil you and everyone in your family making small weekend trips to baseball field and long vacation runs to the beach a breeze and more enjoyable for everyone!

I traded in my 2011 Honda Pilot (yes, a 2011) for a slightly used 2010 Sequioa Platinum. I did this mostly for the towing capacity, but I also love the styling of the Sequioa. Despite loving the overall SUV, I will list the cons to consider if you don't need the towing capacity: - Seat layout. Platinum captain seating in back is silly and inconvenient. - Nav/Audio: overly complex touchscreen interface. For example, to change stations to next preset (without using the steering wheel controls), you have to switch to "audio" mode. - Handling: while good for a 3 ton truck, its still shaky at speeds and subject to wind. If you need a luxury tank, buy this.

Look around several Dealers, It's amazing how so many dealers have a price thousands more than you should pay. If your at a dealership and they utter the words I talked with my Manager and they said we are just charging Invoice, maybe only making a few hundred on this one. That is a proven fact you are sitting at a dealership who believes telling a lie is the best way to gain trust. I have owned several 4 runners, 1 tundra and 2 sequoia's, I have never had a issue with the vehicle and dependability. I would not spend a dime on extended warranty, its a rip off first of all and second you won't need it... Even if you have pay for this For some reason everytime you take your car in for service its a fact out comes the blood suckers and start the break down of issues they have noticed you must address. If you agree and let them control the pen to paper better believe each time you pull into service bay make certain you have a extra thousand to donate to the selling a car to you for cost group.
